A five-star review in special hopes it has some staying power. This is a classic American diner with focus on one thing: quality. Seed oil-free fried products, hand-cut potatoes, hand-pattied burgers; the menu is a fantastic selection. The Filling Station isn't necessarily re-inventing the wheel with their offerings, but whoever the owner is does this with love.
Our server was quick and extremely nice, pleasant, earnest, and knowledgeable. The restaurant seemed slow for a Thursday, but they were near to closing.
I would have really liked having this place around when I went to high school in Commerce.
Need to go back for breakfast. Also, it looks like they have a wicked BOGO free burger deal 2-4pm every day.

My family & I ate here the other night. We are appreciative to have this kind of restaurant in our area, especially one offering seed oil free options & more nutrient dense food when eating out. I’d love to see this place thrive since there aren’t many places like this around. There were a few words of feedback we wanted to offer in hopes of improvement… the inside was a little dark - which wasn’t necessarily bad, but some people may not know it’s open. The milkshakes are DELICIOUS, but sort of small for the price. Since they have the really cool, old-school milkshakes makers, it would be awesome if they served them in vintage milkshake glasses & perhaps w/ the authentic metal overflow cup too! Again, the milkshakes were so tasty! Our food took awhile to come out, but I’m sure that will continue to improve. Lastly, our burgers & fries were served in paper lined metal baskets, but sometimes I like to cut my burger up which was a little challenging with the silverware provided, but no plate to cut up and eat the food. Overall we’d like to try this place again especially for breakfast!

Highly recommend this restaurant! The staff is so dang nice and the food was AMAZING! wow. My patients kept telling me about this place so we finally got over here to try it today, and so pleased! Excited to have this in our community! The staff is wonderful and it is so clean and cute in here!!! The owner served us and was so friendly. The food was the best I’ve had in a LONG time!!!!

Also ask for the garlic aoli to dip your home fries into. They were perfection. Great service as always and the prices are so reasonable! $28 dollars before rip for two is stellar! Can’t wait to try it again! The menu is unique, and creative! Food was seasoned well, warm, and good portions. Can’t wait to come back and try their burgers!
