Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I give it 3 stars, only because it has to do with wht staff they have working at the time. It today I’d give a 1.5 because the sandwich was amazing. Smoothies were not at all what we always get. They put a green banana in the smoothie and for the side banana they gave us a rotten one. Not one tht had spots, I’m talking one thts full black on one whole side. Placed the order thru the app which they weren’t watching those orders waited 5 mins after my pick up time before I finally said something after they took several other orders. Then was til d to be patient. I’m sorry what? This isn’t the first time having bad service or bad smoothies.

I absolutely love this location! The staff is very friendly and they always get my order right :)

I ordered 2 cranberry truffles, add collagen, coconut and no added sugar. It took 4 minutes for the cashier to understand what I was asking for. It’s not the first time I have ordered this but it is the first time it was difficult for the smoothie bar to do. Then I also ordered food: 2 three cheese chicken quesadillas. One with an extra tomato salsa on the side. The other with no tomato salsa, but a chipotle mayo on the side. I got one chicken quesadilla and one regular quesadilla and 2 extra tomato salsas. I decided to bite the bullet and accept the one wrong quesadilla but I wanted the correct sauce. I asked the cashier for the right sauce and they wanted to charge me for it even though they got the order wrong. Not the end of the world but very frustrating.

Great smoothies

The one short girl as she was ringing us out went on her phone right infront of us. This is completely unprofessional and rude. Customer service shouldn’t be like that atleast do it in the back.

They don’t answer their phones. Once I got there, it apparently takes 10+ mins to get a cup of ice when only one other couple was present in the store. The employees found every other task to do other than pour ice in a cup.. the blonde girl working was extremely rude. The man also didn’t wash hands or wear gloves in between handling cash and making smoothies.

The food was made so fast, I was welcomed in and treated politely (by a blonde girl, Fallon?) This place is very clean and my smoothie was great will definitely come back!

Assistant manager Alexa was very helpful and a real delight. Her suggestion on the smoothie was exactly what I was looking for.

I was there last Friday and the manager was there by herself (mixed woman) and the store was packed. she was very kind and did her best to handle the rush without making us all wait.

The heavier set manager was so rude to her coworkers. She was calling one stupid and shouting at them in front of everyone. It was very uncomfortable, and to my cashier - you are not less than her for not seeing the sign. It was in small print and I could barely see it myself. That lady has got to go, she’s making a toxic work environment.

Otherwise, my cashier was wonderful and the food was delicious.

My son an I have a tradition tues-Thursday to get a smoothie after practice, tonight we were turned away service by Alexa (manager) before I could approach the register she rudely said it would take 15-20 min to make a smoothie because she was by herself, an employee was standing right next to her, the employee said I can make the smoothies and she said (right in ft of me) NO you’re on break”
Wow!!! She turned away and I walked out the door, there was one lady inside and she was even shocked, I really liked our tradition, I even signed up and have the app, I won’t return to this store knowing this person still works there, thanks Alexa for being rude in ft of other customers and denying me service

I’ve been twice this season, and the store is so well run. The food has been hot, and I even saw the manager checking orders and making sure the quality was high. I believe the manager’s name is Katrina, and she is amazing and personable. I would definitely return to this location due to the high standards she maintains and expects from her store.

I walked in expecting a triple berry oat smoothie and thanks to Katrina, I got one! She informed me that it was no longer on the menu but was able to whip up something similar. It tasted the exact the same without the flax seeds. She was super helpful and informative during my visit. Give that woman a raise
