Rooms are outdated but clean. Had fun bowling!

Can’t speak on the rooms, we were staying somewhere else, we came for dinner, it’s very basic food, nothing to write home about , I had a BLT that the bacon was like shoe leather, and my significant other had a hot beef sandwich that came out cold.
Our server however, was wonderful, she was attentive, friendly and apologetic when his food came out cold. This is only one of two options to dine in this area, the other place specifically has pizza. This place needs some updating, but looks to be a fun place to have some food, a couple drinks and do some bowling !

We ate dinner while watching a wild black bear also eat dinner! The food and service is delightful! We would go back again!

The food and service was excellent. Staff was very friendly. It was a treat when the 2 bears showed up for snack and put on a bit of a show. Definitely I would go back. I did not stay there but it looked lovely.

Probably the best place you can stay in that part of the Upper Peninsula. Most other places I stay that are that remote are quiet….rustic….which I don’t mind, but Konteka is a real resort.

Plus you get to see black bears almost every evening and morning!

Not to far from the Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the Clouds.

Easy to tell this place has been going downhill fast, food not worth the price, service is horrible. Such a shame,The Konteka was the place to go...not so much now.

Great food, great service, and watching the bears eat through the dinning room windows is the best part.
They also have a small bowling alley, bar, air hockey, darts, and pool tables.

Staff was very nice. Food was good. 3 bears and 1 coyote made a front stage debut. We had a party of 28 and they done a fantastic job 👏👏👏👏

Pull-tabs. Attached bowling and convenience store. Bar pizza, and bears viewable from the dining area?? Place felt like a fever dream in the best possible way. Unfortunately only stayed one night, but have vowed to return. We saw a bear, its cubs, and a wolf in one night. Not sure about feeding the wildlife, but I'm not a cop. Bar pizza was delicious and hits after hiking. Room, food, and drinks all greatly priced. Staff is super kind. 5ish minutes to the shore, 10ish minutes Porcupine Mtn trails. Finding this place felt surreal. Highly recommend this place.

We ate at the restaurant and went bowling. Can’t speak to the rooms. Food was good, service was great and you can’t beat an environment with bears and bowling. Whole experience felt like you were stepping back in time and was charming to say the least. Early dinner and bowling came to $150 (with tip and no alcohol) so not an all the time thing but for a one-off it was worth it.

I stayed the night after hiking in the porcupine mountains. It's truly a one stop shop. Food and entertainment on location. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere at the bar was great! Shout out to the bartender that made me a pizza and kept refilling my water and adding fresh lemon wedges!
