Mylan's Waterfront Grille

We had to send our meals back after a long wait. The waiter said they were cooking the green beans but I can’t imagine them taking that long. Broccoli cheddar soup was cold even after sending it back to be reheated. Taste was overkill with carrots. Sirloin steak dinners for us were both ordered as cooked medium. Mine was a nice pink but tough; my friend’s was well done & dry. Both were pre sliced which was strange. You could visually see the difference in wellness, too. Mashed potatoes were roasted potatoes with purple potatoes (?) mixed in. Green beans were cold. We sent both dinners & soup back, offered to pay for our soft drinks, but we were comped. We did leave a tip fir our nice waiter. He tried. Don’t know where the manager was. This was early dinnertime on a Saturday. Many empty tables inside with food sitting from large groups. They need buses if the Manager is not helping. We won’t go back.

We go to Mylans fairly regularly year around. The past several times the quality of service and food has been diminishing. Short staff and poor management it seems. We waited 45 minutes for our food, and it arrived lukewarm. No tables were bussed and cleaning bottles stood on the table. Trashy.
Sadly, we won’t be able to go back. A party of six arrived at the same time, waited an hour and 15 minutes to be seated. They sat for 15 more minutes, no one greeted them, no water. They finally just left

We were at restaurant this past weekend. All 4 of us in our group had the special which chewed like shoe leather. We could not even chew it. We were all very disappointed. The dish had sirloin steak, deep fried pasta on a bed of greens & a special sauce - which you couldn’t even taste. The server was pleasant - said he told the cook but that’s as far as it went. Sadly we took the restaurant off our list & will not go back

I will start by saying I am a very picky eater. I ordered the ribs. Not much can go wrong with ribs. My serving size was way smaller then I have gotten in other places. With far less fat then other places. I would rate them a 6.5 . The ribs came with mashed potatoes. I could only eat a few small bits. A far cry from finishing my plate. I also ordered a green salad, to me that means green salad. Not diced up onions, split tomatoes, and such. Plus they are like most other places and water their dressing way down. I don't think I will come again.

This place was wonderful. Service was great. The scenery from the outside balcony was beautiful. My panini sandwich was absolutely delicious but my husband's flat iron steak was a little tough. The drinks were good. For the food, drinks, and atmosphere to come out to under $100, I think was darn good

I’d give this place a 3.5 rounding up to 4 stars. The sandwiches and burgers look very nice. I had the Perch dinner and at 27 bucks it’s very mid. Small portion of 3 pieces. One piece wasn’t filleted properly and was so full of bones I gave up on it. Breading is too thick and there is next to no seasoning on the fish or in the batter. It was very bland. Coleslaw had an odd grey tint and tasted off so I didn’t even eat it. If I went back I’d stick to sandwiches like a French dip or burger. The location is great with very nice views. The service was good but they only had one server on so that’s a management issue not the servers fault. She was hustling to accommodate 8 tables spread between the deck and interior. I really wish with the location they would step the food up. In 30 years the food has always been mediocre in this building.

Took out of town friends here on a Saturday afternoon in early August. There were only a few tables filled. Our friend was very specific about how he wanted his hamburger meal done to address dietary concerns. He could not have been more specific. When served, the meal was not to his directions and had to be taken back to be redone.
Also, our other friend ordered a cocktail. Upon picking up the drink, the glass shattered and the drink spilled all over the table. No effort was made to help us clean up and we had to request to move to another table. While a second drink was served without cost, the attention given to this potentially harmful situation was negligible.
Food was mediocre at best. Will not be returning.

We stopped in for an early dinner about a week ago. We were a bit hesitant since some reviews were mixed but glad we did! Matt was our excellent attentive waiter and quite patient with our questions. Everything we ordered was delicious! The Brussel sprouts and fried asparagus were especially great starters.
We enjoyed the experience and would go back when visiting again, as well as recommend to others.

Our server Maddie was helpful with suggestions and assistance when a side ran out. The food; a Steak Panini with chips , and the Perch dinner with fries wear both tasty and well portioned. The seasonal asparagus appetizer was a standout the chipotle aoli made it better. Will definitely be back.
