The Gnarly Heifer is fantastic. My husband and I brought our 3-year-old son to eat here after gymnastics, and not only were the burgers some of the best we have ever had, but the staff was so kind and welcoming. I'm not sure if it was the owner, but one of the staff members brought out a bucket of dinosaurs for my son to play with because he was so fascinated with the dinosaurs all over the building.

The team absolutely gave my family an all out experience for dinner! The four of us went for dinner but left with more than just full belly’s, we made memories. We all picked the mystery button which if you haven’t done it yet I 100% recommend. Even my 7 year old asked for a kids one and she rated her meal one million! In a family of foodies we were blown away by each unique platter and how well they put ingredients together for some very tasty meals. The staff is amazing and I could tell they are all very passionate about what they do there! Plus they support our community so I love to support their business! Can’t wait for my next adventure there!

My husband and I came in for dinner for the first time tonight. We have heard good things and must admit I am so fussy. Well, I will say this was the best meal I have had in Whitehall or Montague!!!!👏👏👏 We had burgers and the truffle fries and I ate the whole burger!! Our server was awesome too! We will be back soon!! Thank you for the great experience!!

Greeted with smiles from the moment we walked in. The staff were very accommodating and so friendly, it was a great experience. Food was delicious. We did burgers and fries and I was so impressed with the taste and gnarly sauce! My 5 year old son said it was the best kids burger ever. The special cream soda was a hit with my wife and overall it was a great time. Looking forward to coming back in the summer!

I don’t live close to Whitehall but have stopped in here about 6 times over the past 2 years and am blown away every single time. You’d be hard pressed to find a better burger in West Michigan and the service is always friendly and energetic. 10/10

I have driven past this restaurant several times and was never able to stop in because I was either going to a call or leaving one. Today I had the fortune to have my last service call 5 minutes from the restaurant. My wife ordered the special of the week and an order of beer cheese fries while I opted for the mystery box. Even so the biggest mystery is: why had I not had them before? Best burger we’ve both had in a LONG time and the fries were 10/10. I’m definitely going to have my dispatch team send me up to Whitehall more so I can use that as an excuse to order more food.

Got there and was told to sign the board as you walk in. We were next in line to get a seat, so we waited. A group of 6 comes in, goes to the counter, tells them they need a seat and were seated immediately. Piss poor service to say the least!!! Would not recommend this place at all.
