I was there a little over a week ago it took a minute to create this. I was traveling and stopped for gas. What an amazing sub I got and the service was awesome. Kildea and Sara were amazing people and really helped me out I have it saved in my maps to stop there often on my trip down to UofM. We need more people like this.

I have no idea what is going on at this location. I just left with a 1/2 #6 the boss added pickles, peppers and extra cheese which is normally only 75 cents. The sandwich was over $15. I asked the woman who cashed me out twice if she rung me up for a full sandwich as that is only $1 less than a foot long sub. She insisted that is the correct price and it’s because the peppers cost 50 cents. I won’t be back as every other location charges $11 for this sandwich and 75cents more for the cheese, nothing else. What a ripoff.
Friendly staff, fresh ingredients. The subs are HUGE.

3 years ago I stopped in at this particular location of Jersey Giant and was very pleased with the sandwich I purchased. Today, however, was a different story. Something was different about the bread; it fell apart really easy and was oddly sweet. I ordered the Jersey Giant sub and the cheese was sliced tissue paper thin to the point of being almost translucent, and the capacola wasn't put on the sandwich. Not sure I'll make a point of stopping in again.

Don’t eat here unless you want to pay extra for toppings that should ordinarily come on a sub. Things like pickles and peppers come with an added charge. Something is off with the sub buns as well. They crumble to nothing as you are trying to eat your sandwich. Lansing locations are much better.
Drove all the way from Melvindale just to try this sub, and it was definitely worth it! I came with one of the officers who eats here every year, and he highly recommended it. Let me tell you—it was one of the best subs I’ve ever had.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by two amazing ladies who served us with a smile and made sure we were taken care of. Great food, great service—you can’t ask for more.
Highly recommend this place!

Very little meat and bread was dry and crumbly. Definitely not worth $16 for a sub.
I stopped to get gas this last Monday and thought I needed something to eat as well. The girl that helped me was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. I told her this was my first time here and she helped me decide on something and took pride in her job. Her name was Star and I believe she was the store manager. Definitely going to be stopping again whenever I’m in the area the sub was delicious.
Awesome sub shop !
Come here all the time and it's always good food and good service, they had some trouble during COVID but they stuck it out and continue to serve some of my favorite sandwiches in the area.
Delicious
