I’ve given Starbucks more chances than I can count, but every visit feels like a reminder of why I should stop going. The atmosphere is anything but welcoming—cold, loud, and strangely sterile. There's no sense of community or comfort, just an assembly-line vibe where you're rushed in and out.
The employees, frankly, act like they’re doing you a favor just by acknowledging your presence. There's a standoffish, entitled energy that’s hard to ignore. A simple smile or “thank you” feels like a rare commodity, and good luck getting a polite response if you have a question or need something fixed.
And let’s talk about the prices. How does a basic coffee end up costing more than a crafted latte at Biggby’s? For what you get—lackluster drinks and dismissive service—it just isn’t worth it. At least at Biggby’s, you feel like they’re happy you came in. Starbucks? Not so much.
If you want overpriced drinks, icy service, and a forgettable environment, Starbucks has you covered. Otherwise, take your time, money, and mood somewhere else.
The workers bought me a cake pop when I had no money 5 out of 5
I dont know which one of the three lovely ladies made my Carmel Ribbon Crunch today, but whom ever, should hold a corporate training on making one. BEST ONE EVER.
Need to hire more people.

This is in the D&W grocery store in Williamston. There are places to sit and Wi-Fi, however, this store has terrible issues with temperature control and it is not comfortable to sit in this

I took my son in there this morning to get myself a vanilla bean Frappuccino, and two cake pops. There were three on display, two of which being labeled cake pops the other being labeled an owl cake pop. When I asked the older lady that was helping us to get one of each, she argued with me that there were three different ones, and I explain to her that there was only two cake pops, and one owl cake pops, so I wanted one of each cake pop. She persisted to argue with me over these cake pops for three minutes. I canceled getting a drink because I did not want it made by someone so rude and petty. There is not three different cake pops, there is two cake pops for one set price and an owl cake pop for a higher price. They are not the same and it’s very frustrating that your employee would argue with the customer over this. I was in fact right and your employee, in fact, was not… they are not the same !I canceled getting a drink and I will not be back to this location. I’m sure you have plenty of support with the other stuck up Williamston community members though

The staff always has a wonderful attitude. They are very sweet to all customers. If a mistake is made, (which rarely happens) they cheerfully fix the mistake without question. It’s my favorite Starbucks by far and I love the employees
Batista was so nice. She rang up my coffee order and I saw a new flavor and she said I could change it. She had to rearing it and did it with a smile. Which earned her a nice tip.
