Where do I even start? Every time I go here or order takeout it’s worth it. You can taste the love and the genuine care that’s put into these recipes. I ordered the Reuben pizza tonight as a carry out, I traveled 45 minutes out of my way from Petoskey plus a 30 minute drive home to Gaylord. I got to share this pizza with 2 people that have never had it and they loved it as much as I do. If you’re not familiar with this gem of a restaurant you should be. This place needs to be a destination whenever you’re traveling through northern Michigan! The thirsty Sturgeon will always hold a soft place in my heart and a soft place in the hearts of those I get to share the experience with! Kudos to you Thirsty Sturgeon, keep doing what you’re doing and the rest will fall in place!

Great overall experience! Elissa was a great server, provided great input and made sure we had what we needed. My first visit, met a friend who is a local. Restaurant is beautiful, great woodwork with a nice vibe. Outdoor seating area has a beautiful view, and has horseshoe pits. Food was amazing. We had the cheese bits and the Monte Cristo for appetizers. Definitely need to make a full size Monte Cristo for a dinner option, OMG! I had the pulled pork tacos, and would order them again, they were great! Love this place, will definitely visit again if I'm in MI!

What a great place. Really solid tap list (enjoyed a hop slam and loved the Les Cheneaux beer on tap). Ruben balls were knock out. Local folks friendly and welcoming and solid service. I’ll be stopping here again.
