We brought our grandchildren out to dinner and they added gratuity to our bill. I would have left her more than what they added to my bill. It was one of my granddaughters birthday and when she brought the dessert she didn't bring enough plates for the table. Will not be going back.

Drinks and service was great, HOWEVER, the cleanliness of the restaurant as well as the restroom was disturbing and disgusting. We even went at off peak time where there were more employees than customers yet no one took initiative to clean even the most standard of things.

We out to dinner for my birthday July 9th, The waitress was very friendly and helpful explaining the menu and how to use the Lava rock. The restraunt was clean and comfortable, the food was great and fun to cook. I loved the fried pickles. Oh yeah, they brought me a lava cake dessert with a sparkler. It was fantastic! Thank you for a great birthday dinner. ?

We spent Mothers Day and paid wsy too much for what it was ($29.95) a person for 3 of us. We recieved cold food even with 945 AM priority seating of what they did have it shouldn't have been put out COLD. I called to voice my concern only to get the excuse that there was a issue with ventilation from someone stating they were manager turns out they were a server and not a manager. I called back to speak with the gm whom addressed me with attitude and didn't want to hear what I had to say. She thought sending out coupons would be good enough for the inconvenience its now been 2 weeks later and still waiting for these non - exsistant coupons. I then sent a email to corperate office haven't heard back from them either. The $100.00 + wasted there isn't totally the whole reason why I'm rather upset, it's the point that the customer service there is absolutely ridiculous. If you say your going to call, do so. If your going to say your going to send something, send it. Only leaves me to assume they dont take what the customer experience / opinions / concerns seriously. We have spent several mothers day celebrations at BR in Ann Arbor and I am very confident an experience like this would NEVER happen there and you can count 100 % that we won't be back to the Woodhaven location.

I can not say enough about the wonderful experience I had at Black Rock in Woodhaven. This was the first time I've ever been to a black rock, and my sister took me today for a birthday luncheon. I go out to eat quite often, and I have to say black rock deserves an outstanding review. They did a wonderful job of preparing the food, and our waitress Tamara deserves a large raise. I haven't been this impressed with a place in a long time. Again, Tamara is the sweetest, most knowledgeable, and pleasant waitress I have encountered in over 2 years.

I will give this place a 5 stars just because of the Casino Steak Sauce. I love to cook, so the experience is a fun experience BUT…be careful. The rocks are super hot and you could get burned. Was a nice touch with the sparkler in all great for birthday. Our server…bless her heart did amazing job even though they are shortstaffed. I love her salad and they have the best brussels sprouts I’m so glad they bought those back to the menu.

Dinner at Black Rock for Fathers Day. The food was delicious. The server was the best we’ve ever had. Amadeo (Deo) was him name. We never had to ask him for anything. He refilled our drinks constantly. Napkins were set up. Food came out non stop on time. He was so kind and polite. Asked us several times about our meals. Made sure to wish Dads a happy Father’s Day. Definitely will request him EVERYTIME!!!!
The food was amazing and service was spectacular. Atmosphere was quiet as I went before the dinner rush on a Sunday. The drinks are costly however the dynamite chicken made up for the pricing all in all I’ll be coming back the chefs name is Will I had to know who made my food it was that delicious!

Waitress was new. Brought us the wrong steak. Charged us for soup that was included with meal. Corrected bill, but it took 10 minutes. Seats were worn vinyl and cracking, and the table was sticky. Poor experience. Will never go back.

It can be fun just with the whole experience being unique in and of itself. The food is decent to pretty good depending on the quality of the food you order so it's kind of up to you in that sense
Vegetarian options: Wouldn't know not to be rude I wouldn't go to a steakhouse if I was a vegan or vegetarian.
Dietary restrictions: Just like most restaurants they have healthy options. I wouldn't put it way up there and it's ratings but I definitely would not say It has a very low rating either
Parking: It's got a really decent location. The city itself is nice. It's a nice little suburb of Detroit and low crime and safety is always a good thing. The atmosphere seemed upbeat and nice. The amenities with clean the service was above average. There's nothing that I experienced that would keep me from coming back. It is though still a commercialized business so with that you're not going to get an extremely unique experience besides what the restaurants niche already has.
Kid-friendliness: I have a son who's two and a half years old he had a great time but I'm not sure if that's because of the restaurant or just because he's a great kid with a great attitude and just loves to have fun. I'll be honest he made my last trip there very fun I went with about 16 family members and we all enjoyed ourselves

The lighting is very dark which is okay however they should at least offer lights at the tables that you can turn on and off to read the menus cuz it is quite difficult you actually have to turn on your phone light to actually see the menu at all seriously other than that the food is wonderful the prices are a little high. And make sure when they offer you to add something on you ask them if there is a upcharge because they asked me if I wanted to add marshmallows to my sweet potatoes not knowing that there was a 1.99 extra fee to add them. I had just thought offering that that it came with or without it.
