The food and service were excellent. Better operating hours would make it a place to visit more frequently. We will have to continue spending other places unless we may randomly find this restaurant open when we are available to eat after working hours.
This place is always good, particularly for breakfast. Quality is always good, waitresses are friendly and the service is first rate. It has been in business for close to forty years and has been a Downriver icon. Well worth a visit.

Everything was great as usual, but they should tell you in advance if there is an extra charge for something. Ordered a burger with no usual lettuce or tomato or pickle. Just asked for grilled onions, and they charged $1.59. I know everything is getting a little pricey, but they should let you know.

Had the standard breakfast - OMG.. Delish!Thick bacon, scrambled eggs, the best home fries, perfectly seasoned! And 2 yummy buttermilk pancakes with warm syrup. Hubby had the same, but with a generous fruit cup, sausage links and perfectly cooked over easy eggs. We will definitely be back!
This was our first visit here and we had a very enjoyable experience. The food was very good, and the menu had so many choices of things I wanted to try. The service was friendly and on point. We will definitely be back.
