The carrot cake states fresh in big letters on the box yet the cake as well as the frosting was dry as a bone.

My wife and I have been coming to Arnies for 30 years. It was always a great experience and good value. Recently the value has been much less and food quality lower too. Not long ago they raised prices and added complementary bread/oil appetizer which is hit or miss if you get it. Last three visits we got no bread as they "ran out". However we saw people with it as we walked to our table and then saw people get it after we were seated. Not a big thing but seems like it was part of price increase so disappointed. Steak tonight was tougher than previous so are they using cheaper cuts. Vegetables were vary crunch they were so under cooked. Way more than normally found at restaurants. Felt the three star was a bit generous but it did fill me up.

I’m giving them 5 stars because the food is always delicious but they could use some redecorating to get this place a little more lively.

Food was serviceable but not great and a little pricey for what it is. Service was incredibly slow. We were there for an hour and a half, 20 minutes of which was spent eating. Food service, atmosphere, everything about this place seems like a sad half effort.

A very good place to have a great meal. Coffee fresh and hot. The staff did a great job on waiting on you. Breakfast was just right(veggie). Will come back again.

AMAZING! The bread they give you when you first sit down is hands down the best bread ever. Their prices are extremely reasonable considering the amount of food you get. I had the French dip in the half size and this thing was HUGE! If you are eating it alone I would recommend only getting the half unless you want to bring some home. My husband had the bacon cheddar burger and he also said it was phenomenal. The veggies on the burger came diced which he found nice and easier to handle rather than big chunks. Our son got the kids pancake meal with back but the pancake was easily bigger than his head. Their bacon also is some of the best I've ever had. To top it all off they make their own potato chips and give you a free cupcake with every meal, which were also amazing! Service is always quick and the atmosphere is cozy. The booths are roomy and they have various sizes of tables for bigger groups. We will be returning again for sure!!!

I go here with my mom for lunch a lot. We love the Rivera salad (a salad with strawberries, I think it's pecans and a poopy seed dressing). It's cool because we always get the same thing. The pick two. You can get a salad and a half of a sandwich but it's good sized and then a cupcake for dessert. For $10. Plus they give you delicious bread with dipping sauces for free. This is only at this location though. I can't guarantee it's at other locations. Anyway I was very happy with out waitress today. And we ate all our food, even the bread! ?

The food and service is always good here, you've GOT to try the tartar sauce and fish; you've never had it like they've got it! The seating area is always clean, the tables kept up ,and bathrooms in good order. The baked goods are a regular stop any time we can come up with even half an excuse and always fresh. If you give it a try, you'll be back.

Mmm needed breakfast somewhere and we picked here! On the way to Kentwood for us. Well the bakery items in the front when u walk on are nice. Cakes , bear claws, pastries muffins. So it took awhile for the waitress to come. But we noticed help was wanted and it is Sunday. Families coming out to eat! So I ordered Eggs Bene one of my fav's. This is the first time it was with a fried egg????!!???? Huh? Oh well the yolk was soft at least. Not my fav way tho. Bf had wedge salad and a French dip. He said the au jus was realllly good. Then he got a cupcake! Chantilly. And I asked for a carrot cake witch was also good!

The Arnies that we have loved for so long, seems to have changed and their focus isn't equal customer oriented. It is obvious that some parties are more important than others. Our multi-racial family seems to be missing some of the benefits that others got with no problem. We weren't offered the complimentary bread or even crayons for our young son. The waitress, Mary Jo, wouldn't even acknowledge our son when he tried to order for himself.
