Our toasted subs weren't toasted at all. The staff seemed like they had no idea what was going on seemed frustrated. The subs were good cold still so thats a bonus.

Best subs I’ve ever had! You gotta go rouge (bread flipped, seasoned to perfection and toasted) 😍 My husband and I like to grab sandwiches and go to a park nearby to enjoy often!

Fantastic subs. Absolutely delicious. Some of the best I've ever had in my life.
Service is fine. Our order almost got mixed up, but they caught it before we paid.
Horrible music. Awful lyrics and way too loud. Multiple times I witnessed customers repeating themselves to be heard.
Not a very nice building, but it seems you already have plans for a renovation. Good. Get vent hoods, please. Too much smokiness right now.
This place is a bit rough around the edges, but I will be coming back to see the renovations. These subs are way, way too good.
These subs are very good. It's a sandwich place, so no atmosphere to speak of
We came in this evening after a long day of traveling and didn’t know what to get. The lovely girl behind the counter was super helpful and even let us try a slice of meat we had never heard of. She convinced us to get number 11 and make it a rouge. Super grateful for her suggestions and kind guest service. I wish I was in town longer so I could go back.
Everytime I go in to this location the whole team seems not only happy to be there,but happy to serve customers.I have been to this location at least 5 times and not one time has it disappointed .I don't think you can make a bad sub at Boardwalk, but I am very indecisive and often put the choice in the hand of the person taking my order.It is always great.

Update 9/23/2024: After speaking with the Manager, they have reassured me of their sanitization practices and have restored my faith in Boardwalk Subs.
I've been a loyal customer of Boardwalk for over a decade, consistently enjoying their subs. However, my visit on Thursday, September 19 at 7:30 PM was disappointing. I observed an employee cleaning the meat slicer in a manner that raised hygiene concerns. The cleaning process appeared to redistribute debris onto the blade, which was then used to slice meat without proper sanitization. This experience has unfortunately impacted my confidence in the establishment's food safety practices. While I've always appreciated Boardwalk's subs, I'll need to reconsider my patronage until I can be assured that proper food handling procedures are in place.

Do not tell customers you will be open if you are not willing to sell food when the time comes. What a waste of time..“Oh we were only able to get the door open an hour ago so we won’t be open till 11:30 today” Like you didn’t just send two customers out at 10:45 that you’d be open at 11am when you had the door wide open and unlocked. I’ve worked food industry and you don’t do that to customers who you watched wait around in the front window till 11 came around. Waste of time and bad staff. A hour is more than enough to set up cold bar or atleast make two sandwiches.

I went to Boardwalk at 8:25pm on 9/5. I was asked what my order would be and not until after the order was ready for toppings was I told they were not accepting cash. They did not close until 9pm and took out their cash till already. I only had cash on me and I did not have enough money in my bank account. Instead of working on a solution, the female deli maker told the male cashier that she forgot to tell me it was card only and left it at that. Ultimately I needed food and had to pay a $30 overdraft fee to my bank for the sandwich. Not a great experience.
