“Whenever we go by, we stop. The staff is personable and attentive, the coffee and teas are great, and we especially enjoy the treats. It is not the sterile, mispronounce your name, too hip to be pleasant vibe that many other shops have.“

“Walked into the restaurant within minutes of opening. Staff was friendly and upbeat (and for the early hour-well caffeinated). Our server. Avery was awesome… made menu suggestions since it was our first visit. Our order was ready quickly. Avery checked in with us a few time to check how everything was and if we needed anything else. Our food was so good… definitely not chain ho-hum fare with little flavor. Our omelettes were loaded with fresh veggies, cheese and ham! Eggs were light and puffy… best omelette I have probably ever had!! We will absolutely make a stop at the Omelette Shoppe whenever we are in the Grand Rapids area.“

“I love this restaurant reminds me of going to the classic diners with my grandparents in the 80s. It's like every time I walk into a new beginnings restaurant it reminds me are the diners from 40 years ago and I'm instantly hit with nostalgia.
The staff are super friendly amazingly courteous and professional and the food is wholesome comfort food which always to me can turn a bad day into a good day just with a simple cup of coffee some eggs toast sausages... Nothing Better“

“It was great, the food was wonderful, and the staff allowed us to visit with family we have not seen in a long time. Did not leave hungry. Omelet was huge, with plenty of potatoes and onions.
Waitress was consistent with water and coffee, and bathrooms were clean.
We will return for breakfast again“

“Straight down the middle of the road......nothing exceptional here to brag about. The servers do their best on busy days and the cooks throw the food out as fast as they can, last time I was there my eggs were actually runny and I really didn't want to eat them like that. I always ask for over easy, not overly runny easy. lol Anyway, when Murphy's is closed on a Sunday, what cha going to do? It's New Beginnings or the Peppermil.“
