This is by far the best Chinese food you will ever have in your life! First authentic Chinese restaurant I've been to where they don't have Mexicans cooking the food! LOL And the owner is just as amazing he makes sure your food is right, hot and orders are always ready when they say! Did I mention the taste of the food, the price and the amount you get? Best food, service, and quality for your money they never disappoint! A must try!

Just learned of this place. Super pleasant employee and the food was great. We had General chicken, Mongolian chicken, and fried dumplings. Our takeout containers were FULL! Wait time was fine despite being obviously very busy. Dining area is tiny. We will be back every time we want takeout Chinese food.

Their egg rolls are to die for...and their other food is good too. Small mom n pop joint pumping out solid Chinese food. It doesn't get any better than this. (You can even see back into the kitchen as they prep and cook your order)I live about 15 mins away and drive by a dozen other Chinese restaurants to just go here. It's that good.

Absolutely amazing service, the man knows customers by name and catches up with each one as they ordered. So many regulars seemed to come in and each of them with a smile on their face- I was impressed with how the person up front could have so many good relationships and know every persons name!The food was also great! Piping hot and delicious and with a great price for its filling portions. This is what I love about small restaurants, just a warm feeling inside from the kind service and just amazing food. Thanks so much for a much needed comfort meal, will be back!

We’ve been here a couple times and always thought it was super good and fresh. This time I got takeout and got home and my chicken smelled like burnt plastic and super chemically. Ended up throwing my entire meal out and stomach isn’t feeling the best. ?

I've heard from a ton of people on both Instagram and Yelp that Chopstick House is the Chinese takeout place to go to in Grand Rapids. I've been burned pretty bad by other Chinese takeout spots here (I'm looking at you Golden Wok) so I was excited to try a new place. For the record, my two favorite spots are First Wok and Blue Ginger, although it's been a while since I've had either. Here's what I got: Sesame chicken: Tons of flavor from the sauce and it wasn't overly sweet/sugary like a lot of other places! Some pieces of the chicken were a little bit tough/stringy. The breading was soft, not in a soggy way, it just wasn't crispy and crunchy which is what I like in my sesame chicken. Plain lo mein: The noodles were a little bit tough but otherwise these were great. Eggroll: GET THIS. I got a chicken Eggroll and it was HEAVY. They load these things to the brim. The outside had an audible crunch and the inside was a delicious mix of vegetables and chicken. Still thinking about this one. Crab Rangoon: It's the classic. We all know what it tastes like. This one is extra crispy and the filling leans more towards the cream cheese flavor. I liked it. Almond cookies (how could I not): These taste exactly like they do at every other restaurant. Sweet almond flavor with a killer crunch. Love these. The staff was absolutely lovely, the food is priced incredibly well, and although it isn't my favorite Chinese takeout spot, I'd definitely recommend it to others and will be coming back here.

Delicious food, excellent service, would recommend to anyone as a great, local, reasonably priced, option with generous portions for any meal.Parking: The parking was ample and well lit as well as being close to the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Our family went with two kids and the staff was amazing to them. Plenty of kid friendly options as well.
