Garibaldi Restaurant

I’ve been coming here for about a year since I work in the building, and I’m really disappointed that I’m now choosing to stop going.

Most of the staff are kind, and the food is good. But one of the cashiers has repeatedly treated me in a way that feels intentionally dismissive and unwelcoming. She speaks English with other customers, but when I come up she often speaks to me in Spanish even though I’ve explained multiple times that I only speak English. When I say “I’m sorry?” she gestures impatiently instead of repeating herself.

There’s no greeting, no acknowledgment while I order, and my change is often placed on the counter without a word. It’s been consistent enough that it no longer feels accidental.

After a year of this, it’s honestly upsetting. No one should feel uncomfortable or unwelcome just trying to order food.

After a long day of thrifting my mom and I came here for dinner and we were both very pleased with our meals and the service here. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for some authentic Mexican food. It’s inside an indoor flea market type place, so just fyi you can’t see it from the road. Also our server told us they do events with live bands every couple weeks and every Saturday and Sunday if there’s no event going on they have karaoke!

They occasionally have great deals through Postmates with bogo or discounts that really make it worth it. Food is always delicious. Kinda confusing in the building itself since it's a mash of different stores in there.

The food used to be good. They went from 10 to a 0, never again will I go back.
Bunch of stupid Fees and chargers ? It’s one thing if the food is good another if it’s straight garbage. Waste of money.

Garibaldi Ristorante Satisfied my appetite for a Healthy , Hearty Mexican meal. I Enjoyed the atmosphere, the Warm & Polite service. Manuel made me feel Welcome there anytime. I most Certainly will visit Garibaldi Plaza again to Enjoy the Caldo De Res, a home cooked beef stew that I now crave on a daily basis. I was able to purchase a gallon of this at a very Affordable price to take Home and Savor. One day I may even try a non alcoholic beverage from their enticing bar. Or God Willing a an occasional celebratory alcoholic beverage in moderation. Thank You Manuel for making me feel so Welcome at Garibaldi. I Will be back & I will make this my Birthday Dinner Destination this coming July 1st.

You just needed something spicy that day

I went there yesterday with my daughter i got some gorditas de asada with rice n beans, she order caldo de res. Food was awful the gorditas were very greasy barely any meat the meat kinda burnt rice had no flavor n was hard. The caldo de Res seem to old not fresh just seem reheated the caldo no flavor vegetables saggy. Didnt enjoy my food waste of money not coming back here ever again. You want good food Lindo mexico on 28th st.

The food is very good, the flavor is delicious, and the portions are very adequate for the price, but 95% of the time I order my food to go because it's very noisy, the music is very loud and the bathrooms are outside the restaurant.

Had a order of enchiladas made with no cheese inside. Also a order of chiles rellenos with expired cheese and not well done. Will never go back! Waste of money

Very difficult to find as it is inside of a plaza. However, the menu is vast. I am a taco lover so I got the tripa, lengua and Al Pastor. Homemade tortillas gave it s different twist. Delicious, but I do like the proteins more seasoned. Music is a loud, but nice atmosphere and very spacious and clean. Highly recommend.

We have always had a great experience here but our only complaint is the tortillas. The tortillas are literally white. They are not cooked fully and when i get home i have to put them on the stove to completely cook through.
