1st visit to a McAlister restaurant....my Italian sandwich was good...not good enough to bring me back tho. especially considering how disappointing my wifes ruben was...witch is why we went there... hope this isn't the correct corporate portion for sauerkraut...we are not one to have the redo while the other waits. and although several employees walked by us as we sat next to kitchen door.. not one person asked how it was.. when we ordered we made sure to tell them it was...

It's okay. Kinda like a more expensive Panera Bread. One thing that needs improving is their layout. Everyone who walks in has no idea where to go. Not with signs and the seating arrangement doesn't make sense.

Tried for the first time yesterday. The Reuben sandwich was decent with a good amount of corned beef, but too thick with the meat in the middle and not enough meat towards the outside crust. Should have been spread out more consistent and definitely not enough kraut. Asked for the pickle and did not get it in our carryout. The potato salad and the mac and cheese were both good, but not outstanding. Probably give them one more try, I was hoping to be more impressed.
