The drive thru staff can be rude at times. The food has altered since not using MOLT mix, bring it back. It's great when the correct staff are working.
Nice place to eat no nonsense. Staff is polite friendly and helpful when you need help at kiosk. A different experience for sure.

Great milkshake!
- Oreo Milkshake - $5.29: I got mine free after filling out a survey using a code on the receipt on their website. My daughter bought hers. They are about what you’d expect, but done well. They are served with a VERY fat straw and you need it, or use a spoon. It was mixed well and perfectly balanced with oreo crumbles and ice cream. The whipped topping and cherry were a great addition.
You also get a full sized Oreo on top. That’s cool!
PRO TIP FOR EATING: Eat the Oreo FIRST or you’ll be fishing it out of the bottom and getting messy.
NOTE: When using the code from the survey, DO NOT ENTER IT IN THE CART. Enter it as a promo code after adding it and still in the menu as if you are ordering more.
- Service: Not much since it is all ordered at the kiosk, but they were friendly enough. They even got the pronunciation of my daughter’s name right, which NEVER happens.
- Atmosphere: Clean. They still maintain that old diner feel (except the table service). The dining area has not changed much in 20 years and that is a good thing. Just bring back the table service.
- Conclusion: Again, I complain about this every time with Steak ‘n Shake. I hate the kiosks. But their food is still the same awesome goodness. They still have my very favorite fries.

Food was hot, delicious, and presentable! The staff were super helpful and friendly. The manager was attentive to my food allergy and took extra precautions to assure my food allergy was properly cared for. The only downfall were that there was only one table clean. But hey at least we had a clean table to eat at.

I'd give it a solid 4 stars. We got a butter steakburger meal, a garlic steakburger meal, large cheesy fries, mint Oreo shake, and birthday cake shake all for under $30, and it was more than my family of 4 needed. Service was quick. The fries were fresh and the perfect texture. Both burgers were preposterously good, especially the grilled onions and garlic sauce. The shakes were delicious, if a little overpriced (about $5 each), though still a way better deal than a tiny coffee drink for $5 at most coffee shops nowadays. My only complaint is the atmosphere. I'm pretty sure every Steak n Shake is the same now. Sticky floor, no soap in the soap dispensers in the bathroom, freezing cold bathroom, and just a general lack of cleanliness. I get it. It takes a-whole-nother employee on staff to keep the place super clean, and employees aren't cheap, but still, it wasn't amazing. I'm not pretentious though, so I don't much care. I still had an awesome dinner out!

We haven't been here in a while, so we decided to get lunch and when we entered we noticed you can seat yourself and had to order your food from a kiosk, when ready they called your number from the receipt and you got a QR code to use the pop machine or it didn't work.
