The dude that works from like 2-6:30 is So lazy he hides in the back even when there are customers at the front. I know because when i’m on my break at the hospital I see it all the time. Most unprofessional person i’ve seen not sure exactly what he does all day but it’s not working.

My daughters got food poisoning here. Yesterday 11/21 went to this restaurant around 7pm something. Got me and my two daughters 6inch subs, one had a philly steak and my other daughter had a pizza sub, I had a veggie wrap with avocado, cucumbers, green peppers and spinach. My stomach started to hurt and my two daughters one isn't feeling well the other one is literally throwing up everywhere with severe stomach pain. Once all the food got out of her system she is feeling much better.
Only one person was wondering last night.

Had philly steak. I ask for a little mustard. Got way too much. Pretty sure it was not beef on sub hard to tell because of mustard. Dumped most of it.
Drink area completely gross. Afraid to set anything down to get my drink.
I figure the hospital would make them clean it up. Not sure about that

Came in for a sub when place wasn’t busy at all , girl working had an attitude for whatever reason. Poor service overall avoid location
I have Subway for lunch occasionally if nothing in the hospital cafeteria sounds good or if it’s between breakfast/lunch and lunch/dinner times when the cafeteria is closed. In years past, I’ve had okay experiences grabbing a sub for lunch from Subway. Over the past 12 months or so I’ve noticed turnover is insane. There is always someone new working and they never seem to know what to do or how to make a sandwich that is listed on their menu. I think that is a reflection of poor training, however, almost every time I grab lunch here, the employees have a poor attitude and act like they’d rather be anywhere else. It feels as though customers are an inconvenience to them; they just want to hangout in the back and play on their phones. I’ve literally stood in line and been ignored when I can see someone standing in the corner on their phone. They are rude and move at the speed of a snail. I have waited in line for 20+ minutes before, which is ridiculous and eats into a huge chunk of my lunch break. Granted, they often have just 1 person working, so I give a little more grace in those instances, but when they have 2-3 people working and it still takes 15-20 minutes with a line of maybe 2 people ahead of me, something is wrong. In addition to everything else, they are ALWAYS out of something…. Avocado, turkey, ham, etc. There is never a sign up stating they are out, so sometimes you wait in line for 15 minutes just to be told they can’t even make the sandwich that you want. Just put a sign up! Their soda fountain has also been out of commission for several months now. Again, there’s no sign on it, so you don’t know until you ask and then are told that it is still not working. This is by far the worst Subway I’ve ever been to and I can pretty much always count on having terrible service and subpar food. I don’t know who manages this place, but they do not seem to check in at all and seemingly have no idea (or just don’t care) about the extremely poor service their employees provide. I will continue to avoid this Subway unless it is my only option.

This location has not had any ice in their machine for the last several months, no carbonation in their sodas, and only serving Diet Pepsi. When asked about it, staff did not have a clue when things would change.

I usually placed an order through the Subway app maybe 2-3 hours ahead of time and the order would be ready for pickup and warm at the time I had specified on the app. Given the busy atmosphere in the cafeteria, I feel like it's much easier and reduces stress to order using the app.
Every time I place an order there was usually one worker and a sizeable line. The worker was polite, but the atmosphere in the cafeteria was really busy and usually quite loud as there were many people in it.
Pictured is the Subway Pizza, I had never gotten it before and it was really good, though I wish I had put meat on it.
Vegetarian options: Meat and vegetarian options are clearly identifiable.
Wheelchair accessibility: Subway is located in the University of Michigan Health-West (formerly Metro Hospital) food court and the tables are adequately spaced to allow a wheelchair user to navigate through the food court.

For the three years I've worked at U of M, this place has stated it's open until 8pm and closed before 7pm, every single day. Attached photo is at 6:51 pm on a Tuesday. Food is still on the line, not an employee in sight. Not sure if it's bad employees when management isn't around or if management doesn't care. I'd order in from any of the other restaurants in the area. This place isn't it.

Very rude person taking my order in the drive-thru. A foreigner who was incredibly hard to understand. They were out of wheat bread, asked for bread to be toasted and it was not. The bread I was given looked like something out of the garbage. No napkins were given, no thank you. Paid at the window and he just slammed the window shut. Not going back.
wack costumer service they would not speak up and I couldn't hear anything ?? also seemed mad confused about what I ordered even though it was on the menu???
Worst sandwich I've ever gotten from Subway. I don't know how, or why, but I ordered a footlong and got 2 different 6 inch subs. No cheese. Wrong toppings. Some kind of sweet dressing instead of mayo. Took one bite and threw it away. Didn't open the sub til after they were closed so I couldn't call. Not that it would matter. Only went to this one cuz I was at the hospital. Won't go to this location again.

I've been at the hospital for 11 days now with my husband, and the entire time their card machine hasn't worked and they only take cash. One of those days, they were out of $1 bills and required EXACT change only. On day 3 I waited 25 minutes for cookies to cool before they would serve them. Then on day 9, their toaster oven broke, so only cold subs. My mother-in-law wanted a veggie sub, except they only had lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. Not to mention their hours are terrible and they close at 7 which is the same time as the cafeteria.. so yeah, this subway is pretty much worthless.
