I've always loved El Cunado. I get that times are hard and food prices are high, but what I experienced here was a bit rough. The price of the tacos jumped to $3.49/each. Okay. No problem. My tacos were basically half empty and the portions for rice and beans were pitiful. I don't mind paying more to keep the quality up, but more for much less was a huge let down.

I ordered a simple burrito which is $12 with beef, beans, cheese for delivery. The burrito had NO CHEESE, NO BEANS, there was some kind of full green hard leaves in burrito. I called and asked to talk to manager he told me he made the burrito with plenty of beans and cheese. Told me if there was a problem to contact uber eats and he proceeded to then hang up on me. It's pretty disappointing the way people treat you and show no pride in their business or customer service!!

How disappointing!! we ordered from here through uber eats, I got the easiest thing you could make, beef burrito with beans and cheese, not only was it almost $12 there were NO beans, and NO cheese. When I contacted the restaurant and talked to the "manager" I was told he made the burrito with "plenty of beans" (when put next to my husband's meal that had beans, there definitely weren't any in my burrito) he then proceeded to tell me if there was a problem to contact uber eats ( i guess they were the ones that made the food wrong! lol) and then he hung up on me. It's pretty sad that people have become so rude and take no pride in their work or customer service

I had a phenomenal time at Tacos El Cunado 44th Street! The food was amazing and the environment was very clean and inviting. I am definitely going to be coming back more often for lunch to get this amazing quesadilla plate!

Every time I place a order they will give a time & not even start your order until you arrive. Paying 4.00 & 5.00 for the tiniest side orders of rice and beans. Tacos are usually still cold, tortillas are soggy, Steak is not flavorful! I Do not recommend this

Ordered a carne asada torta and carne asada taco both with everything. The bread for the torta wasn’t even warm but the meat was warm. The overall flavor was subpar at best. The taco had no real flavor save for the green and red salsa. Tacos el cuando is usually really good but this location was very disappointing and I will likely not be back to location. Despite the food the the lady that took my order was nice

I live tacos El cuando but I will never go back to this one. I ordered a chicken quesadilla with steak didn't get the steak and the chicken was disgusting. Rice was hard and tastes like it's been sitting out all day and beans weren't even warmed up. It was the worst experience I have ever had from any restaurant. Do better!

Ordered from grub hub. Food was terrible and prepared wrong. Ordered the taco trio with rice, beans, and avocado. I recieved on taco with rice, one taco with beans, and one taco with avocado on it. They gave us 2 different kind of store bought chips, the salsa for the chips and salsa was taco salsa not the normal salsa you'd get for chips. We ordered tostadas and they were soggy too. This place is absolute garbage.

We came on a nasty winter day and that didn’t stop our server from being accommodating services top notch.

My Fiancé and I came in tonight after spending the evening shopping. We were greeted with the wonderful smiling face from Elizabeth.
She was absolutely fantastic, helpful with the menu/specials and checked in on our meal multiple times during the meal. Cannot say enough about the staff, especially Elizabeth, at this location.
Now onto the food… let me tell you, some of the best tacos and tamales we have had in GR! Tacos were loaded with meat and tastefully topped with cilantro and onion. I ordered two tamales to go with my meal, figuring they would be on the smaller side, NOPE they were huge! Full of meat, moist, and cooked to perfection.
Overall 10/10 experience and would recommend anyone in the area go try them out!
