We can’t thank the Yale Bakery enough for the delicious wraps and cookies for a small reception we held at a funeral visitation. Even though we gave them short notice, they had everything ready to go and were even willing to deliver for us! We can’t wait to visit again under happier circumstances and enjoy their other menu items - we know the pizza is the best!!

Was here the other day for the very first time bought a couple things that were just ok kind of bland, but I bought a slice of carrot cake and a slice of the bumpy cake. they were both awful, dry, hard. You could’ve threw them against the wall.
Probably won’t be returning ,The lady at the counter was so rude almost like you were bothering her. I’m sure there’s other bakeries around to give your money too

I got married a week ago and had purchased my wedding cake from Yale Bakery. When we went in for cake tasting we were extremely confident in our choice. Day of my wedding they brought the cake in and had traveled over 30 minutes with the cake completely put together (which might account for the leaning). The cake also had so much icing missing off the back of it. They were actively icing and decorating when they got to our venue (not just touch ups). The picture on the left was an inspo pic and on the right was what they delivered and then iced. There were no pearls and no sparkle. My bridesmaids ripped up groomsmen boutineers to hide the cracks and un-iced portion of the cake. HOWEVER, the flavor of the cake was great and we enjoyed our first bite together. The owner also handled the situation with grace and fixed the situation as much as she possibly could after the fact. Another odd request was that I was required to drive out of my way to this bakery to give a $40 cash only delivery fee (I don’t remember discussing this, but we might have when purchased). But it was Cash only and you could not give it to them when they delivered it. I let them know I would bring it the day before, but they called me twice to ensure that I was bringing it. After spending a good amount of money on cake and cupcakes, this kind of came off questionable and was not customer friendly. Unfortunately, this is not the cake I pictured on my wedding day and I was ultimately disappointed in the look. If you care most about flavor and taste then I highly reccomend, but if you care more about appearance I would ensure they can replicate what you’re looking for. At the end of the day, I only get this moment in my life once, and this was very heartbreaking to me.

If you haven't tried a pizza from here yet you are missing out. The square pizza with garlic crust is fantastic.

Ordered their filled cupcakes and a cake for my wedding here and everything tasted amazing and the cake was exactly what I had asked for and was perfect! We had so many people at our wedding raving about the cupcakes and how good they were. 10/10 recommend ā˜ŗļø

I ordered 3 donuts. The apple fritter tasted very bland, the plain donut.
Was crispy on the outside but extremely dry on the inside and the jelly filled
Was okay. They actually tasted day old, even though I was there at eight o'clock in the morning.

Everything is good but the prices are insanely high like a very small frozen pizza that's equivalent to about 3 pieces is $ 20.00 and 6 mini cupcakes smaller than a half dollar 9.00 and change, 6 donuts regular size and nothing special was almost 10.00 dollars, crazy for Yale, I expect that in Rochester Hills or a tourist destination but living in Yale is already depressing so paying prices like that is like being kicked when you're down for some flour and sugar.
