I have been to Community Restaurant several times for breakfast and a couple of times for lunch. Every time I go to Community I always have great food and great service. My favorite breakfast to order is the meat lovers omelet.

The last three times we’ve gotten food here it’s not been good. The chicken is really dry, the fries are over done and tonight my bread was burnt so much I couldn’t eat it. We used to love eating here, however will not be going back again.

As a transplant of seven years coming from a big city, I'm always looking for eateries that stand as a community pillar. I arrived a little early to an event and was eager to grab a bite to eat somewhere central to the Zeeland area, but still close to my destination. The locals that joined me in walking through the door wasted no time being sociable and friendly, something that can be scarce in more conservative areas for me (I'm goth lite.) Not wanting to take up too much space, I sat myself at the counter seating and ordered the daily special-- an apple chicken pecan salad. I was already thrilled by the price, it's hard to find entrees under $10 these days and the food did not disappoint. Although simple in it's make and presentation, the quality was solid. The only other gentleman seated at the counter made sure to say goodbye to me even though we hadn't exchanged a word. I was really happy about this. Going new places I'm often nervous to be out in public, and can sometimes assume the worst. The staff and patrons were all great, refills were timely. I can't recommend Community Restaurant enough, I can absolutely see why it has served Zeeland since 1971.

At the steak and eggs for breakfast, everything was cooked as it should have been, great waitress very helpful, atmosphere was what you'd expect for a little mom and pops.
It's just an all around great restaurant. Great food and great service. Also easy on the wallet.

Came in this morning only one person said hi to me and seated me and she was only one super happy I was glad the only one happy to be here wa my waitress and here older lady said hi to everyone else but me food is awesome though I think not everyone said hi to me because I looked different than the people that usually come in here so first time experience was mixed review thought it would be way friendlier and people actually happy to be here since it’s called community restaurant but was surprised only one said hi to me and only one smiled too
