If you have a customer asks the waitress if a well burger is an issue, and she responds with "no problem:, then, having to send back said burger because it is dripping red juice all over your plate, and getting what I can only guess is what a lump of charcoal tastes like.....if you can't cook a well done burger on an open flame grill, you need to go back to McDonalds and ask if they want fries with that. This was our 2nd visit there. Now our last. The sirloin my husband ordered was very poor quality compared to the price, and they can't cook Green beans completely either.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Block North with my family, and it was a truly wonderful experience. We started our meal with a taste of their own brew, "Bog Nectar," which was refreshingly crisp and the perfect complement to our appetizer. Speaking of appetizers, the Walleye Cakes were an absolute delight, rich with flavor and beautifully presented. For the main course, I savored the Chicken Parmesan with white sauce, which was both hearty and delicious. The combination of flavors and the warm, inviting ambiance made for a perfect evening. We left with full hearts and satisfied palates, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend for a great dining experience

We’ve been here a few times. The food has been good. However, the service lacks and the time it takes to get a meal is unacceptable. We went in June and after we were seated we ordered our meals with an appetizer. The appetizer came out soon. Then, it took over an hour to get the rest of our order. The waitress wouldn’t even come by to refill drinks. Meanwhile we were watching other customers come in after us getting their orders, eating and leaving before ours came. We were told that when they made our appetizer it put the rest of our order on the bottom. Thinking they might’ve had an off night we went back a few months later. This time it took them an hour and a half before the food came, without us ordering an appetizer. I do NOT recommend this restaurant.

The berger was excellent came exactly as ordered potato triangles were perfectly done everything was good wait staff was friendly
Stopped here on the way to the cabin for dinner. My boyfriend and I each ordered the whiskey glazed steak with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. We had Zach as our waiter. He was wonderful. We would love to come back again.

I had Block North cater a fantasy football draft dinner for 14 idiots and it was a huge hit with everyone. The food showed up right on time and still warm from the trip up to McGregor from Aitkin. We did the Italian Dinner buffet. The biggest compliments went to the chicken parm and the from scratch salad dressing. Most thought the meatballs were delicious and I couldn't agree more. We had plenty of food for late night eating and the next day! I had excellent communication with Amanda at Block North also. We will absolutely be considering Block North for next year!

We live in the Metro and are often disappointed by high prices and more importantly, sub-par food. This place is a gem! The food is absolutely delicious. I had a steak, my wife the bacon shrimp and our friend had a walleye sandwich. The food would be a bargain at twice the price and the service, spot on!

This restaurant earned a spot on our must visit again list, compliments to the kitchen staff, the menu was top notch!! The atmosphere here was fantastic with some games to play downstairs for kids, and an extensive drink menu upstairs!
