Hot day, young lady seemed annoyed. But overall it was good, food was hot and fresh and the ice cream hit the spot. Cute little animal walking area along the back side of the property. Welcomed relief for our four legged furry companion!
Our extended family is from Grand Rapids, Minnesota, just one hour north of here where we owned a store. For years, my Dad packed us in the station wagon and headed from the Minneapolis area to Grand Rapids. This was one of his favorite stops as food gets pretty scarce once you head north out of Aitkin on Highway 169. We had a chicken basket and a dessert here, it's just like any other Dairy Queen and has a couple spaces to park boats and campers out back. Service was fast...
