We stayed in their primitive area, it was a perfect spot! It was memorial weekend, it was fully booked but didn’t feel busy. Just what I wanted, quiet, secluded from others! Bathroom was not very far away, showers were free. Did not stop at the bar so no review on that part. It made it easy to just jump on the trail since it was right there.

Stopped by for a drink. Not a sole in the bar. Asked if we could have a drink with our two small dogs outside on the patio. The answer was no. Went to Red River bar in Akley. No problem. Dogs allowed on the patio. I understand a no dog policy indoors . Should not be a problem

If you do and you have to eat your own safe foods you will have to do that outside in the parking lot. So we ended up getting everyone else's orders to go so I wouldn't have to eat by myself.
