This place is a total gem!!! My husband and I stopped on our way to Des Moines on a Wednesday afternoon and so happy we did!!! Definitely don't judge the food based on the size of this restaurant. Portions are massive!!! Hubby went with two patties with bacon and veggies with no bun and the size of the patties definitely didn't disappoint. I had a half order of the prime rib commercial. Wicked find!

Fantastic hot beef, not too salty, classic Americana style, sweet server, ice cold beer. Really can’t ask for more.

Oh…and the flowers! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a building behind such a bath of mums!

Food: I have eaten plenty of burgers from all pver the world. The Juicy Lucy burger hangs with the best of them. The burger came out nice and hot, along with a large portion of home-style fries. The fries were seasoned perfectly.

Service: a nice woman behind the cou ter greeted me as I walked in. Told me I could sit wherever and had a menu on my table immediately. She asked what I would like to drink and prompted me with the fact that they had Pepsi products....
