I ordered 4 pieces of gluten free French toast. No sides. No drink. The total was $24.99 for 4 pieces of bread. Will not return

I had lunch there today. I enjoyed the delicious strawberry crepe.
The hostess brought me coffee and water while I as looking at the menu.
The server came to take my order in a timely fashion, even though the restaurant as quite busy. The server pointed out and described the new items on the menu giving me time.
After making my choice, my food was cooked and delivered and was very well presented.
The server continued to check on my needs and my dining experience was very delightful.

I wanted to like this restaurant, but, upon entering the smell of old cigarette smoke from the past was overwhelming.
Service was excellent, Lola took good care of us. Food was average.
Using the restroom in the attached, old motel was not pleasant. The smell of cigarette smell in the hallway was even worse. Bathroom had a few unfinished projects going on.

One star for service.. I felt invisible. First 2 servers who looked my way didn't say a word, not even a smile or nod of the head. I was standing at the hostess podium and was the only person waiting at the time. I grabbed a menu for myself and started to look it over. Now been there 2 minutes and there is a couple behind me. Finally a waitress approached and asked to couple how many, just 2? I spoke up and said I was alone. She said they were cleaning off a table and I could wait or grab a seat at the counter. She went back to pouring coffees. The place was almost empty, 3 servers, like 15 empty tables and maybe 5 occupied tables. Now we have group of 3 or 4 also waiting.. Thin young brunette waitress is still focused on pouring coffees and the other 2 are nowhere to be seen. A 4th person is starting to clear a table..I left after another minute.

Very good!
Don't mind the exterior and interior appearance because once you get your food you'll be very happy! You get that home cooked meal feeling for sure!
The exterior and interior are definitely dated but it appears that they are updating the building. 👍
The food is fresh and delicious!
The price is high but we understand that everything is getting expensive and the quality/quantity justifies the price.

Traveling from Omaha, Nebraska. I had the Frisco melt and my fiance had the chicken strip basket. Everything was delicious including the root beers that we had to drink. Our server was amazing!! Great service!!!
