Good foods, fast service most of the time, and a friendly manager!
I like to order the steak California burrito ($17) but they have lots of other great options as well.
The Olé Flaming Cheese ($10) is a great appetizer too!
(You can also order food to go, they used to have online ordering but it seems that is down for maintenance right now so you'd just have to call in your order)

Plaza Morena Campestre Grill is a very nice Tex-Mex Mexican American Restaurant located within the Northbridge Mall in Albert Lea, Minnesota. I ordered the Carnitas Enchiladas and they did not disappoint; most excellent. Drinks were great and service was very good. Don’t be put off by the mall presence; this place deserves an honest try. Very much recommended.

Convenient location with lots of parking. Food is ok. Queso is bland and watery. Chips are flat. Fajitas were good, fried beans were not good, rice is ok. Nothing special about the food. The best part of the meal was the fried ice cream. The cinnamon and sugar shell was amazing. The cornflakes were stale on the outside of the ice cream. Next time I'm in the area I will try somewhere else.

I was very disappointed in my taco salad. It was very watery. The hamburger was mushy. There was no cheese, no sour cream and I and the lettuce had was big chunks of lettuce usually we are very satisfied there but my husband had a super burrito and he wasn't impressed with that either
