Ate there a couple of weeks ago. Got the buffet. Was probably the worst food I have ever had. Goy the 1/4 ribs, and the chicken. Both were moist, bur flavorless. Had 2 sides, which you get plenty, corn and green beans, they corn was okay, bit so much on the green beans, and picked cornbread, that was ice cold. All the food was cold or barely warm.
Was shocked at the price for the way you got, and the flat, tasteless food I received.
WILL NOT be eating there again, and STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Came from Iowa to visit family day after Thanksgiving. Was staying at the hotel next door after a day of drinking. Came in and the staff was friendly, food was great and hot off the grill, drinks were ice cold. Will be back whenever I'm in the area.

Stopped by here on a trip from South Dakota to Wisconsin on Sunday, 11/24/2024 as we were staying in the Holiday Inn next door. Had hoped for a nice sports bar atmosphere to have a few beers, watch the Minnesota-Chicago football game, and have something to eat. As Green Bay fans enroute to Wisconsin we had Packer t-shirts on. Upon entering the place and walking up to the bar the first patron we interacted with (the one with the fading homemade neck tattoo who had clearly been at the bar since right after church that morning) greeted us by slurring, “We don’t like losers in here.” Other patrons quickly chimed in with , “Losers, losers.”

It was clear that if you aren’t a local you are not at ALL welcome in this place, unless of course you are a group of truck drivers from the truck stop next door who, perhaps because of hearing loss after too many miles in the big rigs, felt compelled to carry on their conversations at somewhere around the 90-100 decibel level. Even the bartender commented on how incredibly loud they were as they carried on not their conversation but rather, their shouting match for around two hours. The only positive of all of this was that Donna the bartender was kind and friendly.

Having had enough of the shouting truckers and the rude locals we moved to the next room to have dinner at their buffet (still part of Skol). Once again we were met with disturbing, rude, and quite futile attempts at humor with remarks from the buffet attendant such as, “We normally don’t serve losers here.” We ate there nevertheless, as we were tired, hungry, and close to the hotel. Sat in a quiet corner to avoid any further interaction with employees and patrons, only to find my wife sick an hour after having the buffet roast beef.

As I said, we’re from South Dakota. We’re very easy-going, and normally enjoy exploring local taverns and restaurants on our travels, talking with folks, etc., but this was a TERRIBLE experience. Oh, and being from South Dakota our governor is Kristi Noem. Minnesota’s is Tim Walz. I’m open at any time to discuss losers versus winners.

Wanted to sit at the bar. It was full so decided to get a booth. We sat down and a girl came over and told us we needed to get our on drinks and I asked what about drinks from the bar. She stated she would take the order when we was ready to order food. Well we wanted our drinks while we looked at the menu. So we decided we would just order to go. Walked up to the front to order to go and my husband needed more time to decide and we felt rushed so back to the booth we went. Got another waitress this time and she went and got us drinks from the bar. She came back and we ordered food. She bought the food and then stated if we wanted anything else just grab someone as they walk by. Food didn’t really have any taste and if I wanted to get things my self I would’ve have went to a fast food place. For the price we want service and food that taste good. Won’t be back.

First of all....Shanna is the BEST, hottest, most (I hope) sincere bartender I've ever had the pleasure of being served by. She is by my standards..a TRUE GODDESS! I'll NEVER forget her. The drink's were perfect, the food was excellent. I am looking forward to returning again. SKOL!
Oh, I had breakfast AND dinner. They were both awesome sauce 😋

Best ribs on the planet! No sides just give me the RIBS!!!!

Their ribs have gone downhill in the last few years..over cooked and over priced. For some reason they are keeping with covid restrictions which doesn't make sense.

There food is great. The fried cheesecurds are the best I've ever had and the fries are awesome. The service is great, they're nice and really helpful.

Great food hreat staff

This place used to be fantastic but now? Political nonsense on tv, country music (???) in a Viking themed bar, and my husband ordered the 16oz steak which ended up being mostly gristle. Needless to say, I'm sad to see this place fall so far and the food was mediocre for the price.

Great food

This was disgusting. Ordered the open face steak sandwich (medium rare) and the “steak” was a fatty, tough, overcooked chunk of meat I wouldn’t feed to a stray cat. No apologies, no concern from the staff. Multiple tables were sitting dirty the 45 mins we were there. The brussel sprouts my companion had as her side, were the most attractive and tasty part of the meal (according to her). i hate them but would have gladly ate them compared to the rest of our food.

Didn't get a chance to try the food. Sat down at 2:54 pm and read the menu a couple times, finally at 3:08p.m. a woman walked by and said another girl would be over to get my order in a few minutes. I told her to forget it, as I already sat there too long.
I must say, after reading the rest of the reviews I'm very glad I did not eat here!!
