Awesome Viking themed restaurant in a gas station ⛽️ truck stop. The old lady server was so warm and welcoming

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, showcasing a variety of flavors and fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, with stylish decor and a lively ambiance that enhances the dining experience. The service is exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the menu. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and presentation of the dishes make it well worth the cost. Overall, it's a wonderful place to enjoy a memorable meal when you are traveling.

The food is marginal at best. Price is high for the lack of quality. They try to make up for quality by giving excessive sides quantity. You will not leave hungry, but you will leave wondering why you ate it. $7 for literally 2 bites of Brisket. Another $7 for 2 dried up bones of ribs. $6 for canned corn and not amazing potatoes and gravy.

Well had high expectations but was a total let down. Stood around a few minutes server never acknowledged us so we moved on . She looked up from counting the money ( at 4:30 pm) at the register a couple of times but showed no interest in engaging us. Sad looked like a cool place. Update , drove a little down the road to the Thirsty Fox . Service and food 😋 are top notch.

Their Chili definately isnt what you would expect in Minnesota. It could compete with Texas Chili anyway. Great !!

Had been wanting to stop and eat here for about a year. Finally was able to stop and was very disappointed. Food was not very appealing and was served in a flimsy paper container that was soggy before the food was eaten. Service was slow and had to walk up to the register three different times to request things. Will not be stopping here to eat again

Feel bad for the waiters / waitresses. How can they survive on next to no tips. Prices are too high here. 21$ all you can eat at Walcott, IA. They got some kind of partioned price scheme here for the buffet. What is this China style credit system buffoonery. I don't know how much it would have cost me. I had steak and eggs. Asked for medium rare and my eggs and hash browns were cold since they obviously sat in the back for 15 min while they overcooked my steak. All for 30$. Last night I left 10$ tip to the waitress in Walcott. But today, I left 1$ simply out of courtesy. My belly was full. I appreciated that. But I was hungry and wasn't into making a scene and asking for another breakfast done right.
