Super nice location. Very clean and fresh! Staff was friendly and courteous. It was nice to chat with them while they made my sandwich. The ingredients looked fresh and tasted great.

Sad. It's a nice new store with a drive thru,,, but all the people that work there are slow and don't know what they're doing..female manager sat on the phone in the back while one guy slowly made our subs and while I like a loaded sandwich,, having too much stuff makes for a messy sandwich that doesn't close well.... And no napkins in my bag!!!! Ugh.

My sub was full of ranch sauce, other then that it was good.
Was told I would have to pay double for more tuna when the first portion wasn’t even enough to cover the bread. Ridiculous! Staff wasn’t polite, a worker got made he was asked to change his gloves. I just left. First time we came plastic was in my boyfriend’s food and now this. Do better or just shut down. Yeah, I won’t be back.

Frustratingly Slow Service Prioritizes Online Orders...
My recent visits to the Subway at 802 E Main St in Albert Lea have been consistently disappointing due to excessively long wait times. It's become clear that online orders are being prioritized at the expense of in-person customers.
During a recent visit, I was the first person in line and waited over 20 minutes just to place my order. During this time, staff members were busy preparing numerous online orders while seemingly ignoring the growing queue of customers inside the restaurant. By the time I finally ordered, the line had extended out the door, with at least 15 other people waiting.
This system is clearly inefficient and disrespectful of customers who take the time to visit the restaurant in person. Subway needs to implement a more balanced approach that doesn't leave in-store customers feeling like an afterthought.
To address these unacceptable wait times, I strongly suggest the following:
• Add another sandwich-making station: This would significantly increase the capacity to handle both online and in-person orders simultaneously.
• Increase staffing during busy periods: Having more employees on hand would allow for faster order processing and better customer service.
Until these changes are made, I cannot recommend visiting this Subway location if you value your time. The current system is a recipe for frustration.

Worse experience. Over 10 minutes at the drive thru with only 1 car ahead of us and 3 employees. They would take our order one sandwich at a time and would make it while we talked. Not worth going back. Especially at $30 for 3 6in sandwiches.

Made an online order while driving through. Went in to pickup and they informed us they were out of an item we wanted. They could substitute it, but would not give us a refund for choosing a lesser price item (paid in full online).
The place was busy, and with it being a tiny establishment quickly filled with people.
Overall the sandwiches were good, but I recommend making an order in-house to avoid overpaying.

I've been here for 15-20 minutes for a door dash pickup. After they cleaned everyone out with their orders, they claimed they just got the order and would be ready in a few minutes. Also, I watched a lady come in and complain about not getting lettuce in her bowl. The lady at the register claimed she saw him put it in. Then, the customer turned to her husband and asked for his confirmation of no lettuce. A little heated argument, and then she said, "I did not just go around and pick the lettuce out." 😂 She left with a refund. She had some other issues with her meal, but I was not paying attention to that. I am not sure how it is during the day, but the night shift here did not impress. Why argue when you're not getting docked for the refund.

When ordering through doordash, they always seem to somehow get my order incorrect, missing items etc. Service is always very slow, so don't recommend if your in a hurry

Girl making the sandwiches for drive thru was very rude. Had 5 sandwiches to be made. They said they can only make 3-4 sandwiches for drive thru… then what’s the point of the drive thru.

Ordered 2 sandwiches, meatball sub was microwaved instead of toasted. Soggy mess I tossed. Missing toppings on the other. Staff Has issues.
