Best stop on our trip from Wyoming to WI.
WALLEYE was awesome. Owner fabulous and "Brandy wine" exceptional. Mineagain was an unexpected stop but a great find. They all "gave a shit" that we were there and about the food they served.

Friendly staff. Great food. The walleye sandwich was excellent, as was the hot beef sandwich. Pies are made in house

AMAZING. I wasn't positive what to expect when I walked in - it was quiet for lunchtime. I was SO impressed with this place! The food was excellent, the pie was homemade, and the staff was beyond friendly. I will absolutely put this on my regular travel rotation.

I was quite surprised by this place. I thought it would be OK; run-of-the-mill and nothing special. Wrong! The food is delicious, served hot and surprisingly fast. Staff were more than polite; they were downright gracious. I felt more like a guest than just a customer. Just a wonderful place, and perhaps Albert Lea's best eatery. Five stars, all the way.
Kid-friendliness: When we were there, a family with two small children were dining nearby. The staff was nice, but particularly so to the kids. The idea seemed to be that if the kids are happy, everyone is happy - including nearby diners. This worked to perfection, and I definitely noticed.

We found MineAgain by accident and we are so happy we did. The food was great, the service exceptional and well worth our 45 minute drive. My picky eater even wanted to go back. While we waited the owner came and visited with us and told us about his other menu items as well as other fun facts. Our group of 6 really enjoyed this and the waitress. They have also been great with our large groups for reservations when we returned at a later time. We highly recommend them.
Never got checked on. Did not like my sandwich which isn't there fault however my food was thrown away with one bite taken out of it while I was in the restroom and was charged full price for my food that I didn't even get offered a box for... never got checked on the entire time. Had she checked on us i could have atleast ordered something i did like but everyone else was finished eating by the time any attention was towards our table. I work in the restaurant business and my job would NEVER allow a guest to leave KNOWING they are unhappy. No refills until we had to wave her down to ask. We have been coming here often per my request but this time was terrible. Everyone else's food was good! Typically food is excellent. Just terrible service.

Best chicken fried steak I've ever had. Ordered with sausage gravy. Everything was made from scratch. Pancake was light, fluffy, and delicious, and the hash browns were the best I've had in a while.

I'm not sure there's a point in reviewing this restaurant because the owner told me he is transitioning it to a different business in the upcoming months. But as long as it is open, enjoy it. The atmosphere is that of a typical roadside cafe. It's clean. The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming, although rather slow. They have a 55+ menu, from which I ordered the pork chop with 2 sides (salad and steamed broccoli) for less than $10. All the items were very inexpensive. I topped off the meal with cherry pie. The owner prides himself on making all the food from scratch, which, except for the salad dressing (quite bland) was good (the pie particularly so). Avoid the coffee, it was terrible.
