We sat in the drive-thru for over 30 minutes waiting on our order. We did not need a receipt because I had everything tracked on my phone, and the woman at the window was incredibly sweet. She repeated everything back perfectly and was the only positive part of this experience.
With a screaming baby in the car and my grandparents waiting in the parking lot, we stopped the outside runner at the 20-minute mark to ask about our food. She told us it was ready and coming right out. Another 10 minutes went by and still nothing.
At that point, I went inside and asked for a refund so we could go somewhere else. The shift lead, Emma, said "It's literally right here. We are just slow in the kitchen." I stated I still wanted the refund, because I am not paying $38.35 for food that has been sitting there for over 10 minutes.
She then huffed, grabbed the bags, and threw the food straight into the trash. I am not sure if she was trying to make a point or genuinely having a tantrum, but it was completely unacceptable. I was not rude at any point. I simply had a crying baby and a very delayed order.
To be treated like that was bizarre and
unprofessional. I hope management reads this and addresses both kitchen wait times and customer service, because this experience was absolutely not okay. I understand being short staffed, but communication goes a long way.

I went inside tonight and was greeted by the nicest Culvers employee ever. She is blonde, had a beautiful smile and happily greeted and welcomed me, helped me figuire out the best way to order what I wanted, got my order correct, AND thanked me for coming in. This level of friendliness and competency is so appreciated. This girl was obviously raised right...and also trained well by a great team. As I waited for my order, I continued to observe and appreciate the high energy employees and how well they were working to get food out accurately, with speed and precision. It gave me a feeling of nostalgia, as I remembered that this is the way that it used to be...that customers were acknowledged, staff had a great understanding of the menu to best give the customer what they might like, and customers left feeling like they got a good, quality meal and understood the cost vs value of the of the product. Thank you, to the Culvers staff for investing in cultivating and training good employees that represent your product and brand in ways that you can be proud of. It is no wonder this Culvers is so busy! Definitely the best location in Minnesota!

I stop by this location about once a week because we live close. The staff is always super friendly and food on point. Tonight I ordered custard in the drive thru. It was super busy and everyone else was also ordering custard (being so hot out). The car in front of me was really rude to the young girl about having to wait, even though it was obviously busy. The staff were working really hard and Just want to give a shout out to them!
