The cutest hidden gem around!! 1950s themed small diner with murals, classic car models, and more! Classic diner menu, delicious foods, light menu for 10 and under and 65+. Extremely affordable and hands down the best, and largest, meatball mushroom special! For those that struggle to find it has a neon pink lettering on the window.
Parking: Along the downtown strip with mainly parallel parking. There is a few parking lots nearby but it would be a jaunt.
Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! Very friendly staff and other restaurant goers!
Wheelchair accessibility: May be a tight squeeze for a wheelchair br definitely doable!

I have driven truck over the road for 15 years, I have eaten in 100's of diners and truck stops coast to coast. For what I ordered (Western with HB &Rye), there is no way it could have been done any better to my satisfaction. Coffee and drinks never went empty (good service). It may not be the most clean and spotless place, but it is one of those "whole in the wall diners" that is very unpretentious, and a great place for the locals, and the common man. Very satisfied.
Monday, 7 am, glad they open early.? Our group of 5 was served fast and efficient. One other group was there. Food was hot and hashbrowns were what I wanted. A friend said the haldaise sauce was very good but sweet! Water was very good tasting. Like the decor!!!
Parking: If the street isn't full, then there is lots of parking. We walked from the parking lot behind the next street over.

We are very glad we found ourselves at the Downtown Diner even though it was not our first choice. The breakfast choices gave us good options The attentive service from the (small) staff was remarkable given it was a packed-to-the -rafters dining space. But best of all, not only we're the scrambled eggs delicious, but the hashbrowns were better than those we've had at 5 star expensive restaurants!!!! We will be making the 75 minute road trip back here for breakfast again! Thanks to the family members who provide this hidden treasure@
