This is one of the best Mexican food restaurants I have ever been, even in Mexico. Everyday so tasty, and not too spicy, just the right amount. Huge portions and excellent in price, you don't see many restaurants with this amazing quality/price in the country these days. I recommend this place so very much, if you're in Alexandria MN you can't miss it.
We visited here right after their opening, and we were not impressed. But decided they deserved a 2nd chance, and boy, they have greatly improved. The food was great and hot. The serve was good also. The only concern we had was trying to communicate with our server. When ordering, she didn't understand us when asking for his order to be extra hot, not spicy hot but oven hot. The food was amazing! I don't know how they get Chimi that crisp, but it is amazing. The salsa, Peco (spelling), and sides, fast fresh and accurate. Clean place, plates, and glasses. Waitress was very nice, even to our kids (they never stop talking). 5 stars for Everything but the temperature of the restaurant was 78-80 degrees, much too warm on a hot summer day. It was cooler outside. 9/10 will definitely go back.
