Great Special on Tuesday. $5 tall beers and $5 burgers. Service was great.

Great food and friendly staff. If your looking for a good place to eat out you can't go wrong with Raapers.

The service here was decent; our waiter was very pleasant, but we did have to ask for water refills after our glasses had been empty for quite a while. They did have a nice salad bar with plenty of options and a good variety of tasty soups, and the menu was extensive with options for everyone. My husband and I both ordered off the "Backyard BBQ" menu, which was the special menu for the day; my husband ordered a rack of ribs and wings, and I ordered the "BBQ Mac Attack," which was their housemade mac & cheese topped with bbq pulled pork. The food came out looking good, but my pasta was lacking in flavor, and my husband's ribs were fairly basic. I expected the bbq sauce to be something delightful with the restaurant's claim of being an American bbq joint, but it was just Sweet Baby Ray's, which, in my opinion, has very little flavor. Overall, our experience was not the best. The salad bar was great, and we had high hopes for our main course, but we were left a little disappointed. There were many other items on the menu that sounded very good. I think we just happened to pick items that didn't meet our expectations. I'd be willing to visit again, but take into consideration what I'm ordering.

Highly recommend raapers eatery & ale to cater your event! Cammie, the owner, and her crew recently catered our grooms dinner and wedding. The food was amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly & accommodating! They also bartended the event. You'll definitely be impressed with Cammie, her crew, & the delicious food & drinks!

Went here for a team dinner and service was super slow, food was cold and food was missed. It took 1.5 hours to get our food. Would not recommend this place.

Horrible Experience. We arrived and asked for water and didn't get it for about 10 minutes. Then finally ordered food. Our burgers were burnt and tasted it and didn't arrive for half an hour. We asked for seasoned sourcream and got ranch instead. When we asked for our check it took another 10 minutes. It is our 1 year wedding anniversary today, and this definitely didn't make it a great supper experience. We wont be going back.

Good food, okay service. The food really makes up for that. I reccomend the burgers. They're yummy

Me and my family went to raapers recently, pretty nice overall place. But the issue we had was with one of the staff members. The girl with the tattoos, was fairly rude, and took 30+ minutes to serve our table
Food wasn’t the best, definitely better options out there

Not the biggest or best restaurant in Alex. Pretty disappointed

Not a bad lunch spot. Not really a sports bar as there was only one game on TVs when several were actually being televised. But good compromise for those who would like to keep up on scores and get good food.

We we're suggested to try this place out for drinks, pool and darts. The downstairs was set up for music pool darts and was pretty cool. Bartender was very nice. Upstairs had two sections one looked much more restaurant like and the other was more of a tavern/pub type feel. We did not get any food here. Everyone in our group said their drinks were not overly expensive. Very reasonable.

We ate at Raapers on Tuesday for their Burger Night. Burgers and fries were very good. We tried to use a Big Deals certificate but both the server and manager said we couldn't use them. After we pushed back, the manager finally accepted them. Seems to me if a restaurant issues a certificate, they need to honor it when presented by the customer.
