To start off I'd like to state that I'm only giving this review 2 stars because the food was decent. We arrived at the restaurant for a late lunch was told they could accommodate our party of 10, but that it would have to be in their upstairs area as they didn't have room for us downstairs. We agreed and the hostess went upstairs and started to prepare the area. After we were seated the hostess left and we expected the wait staff to come upstairs to take our drink order but after 15 minutes nobody had shown. One of our party members went and asked the hostess to please send the wait staff up us. Still nobody came. We waited another 15 minutes (way longer than we ever should have to!!) and then another one of our party members went and told the hostess that if someone didn't come up soon we were leaving. FINALLY a waitress showed up! You could tell she wasn't happy to take our drink order. We were already upset so we told her that we were ordering drinks and food at the same time as at that point it had been 40 minutes. Drinks came, she couldn't remember who had what. Then we waited another 25 minutes for food. She complained about having to keep going up the stairs every time she came to give us something. The food was delicious but the service was terrible! Then on the way out you could see the waitress and the hostess glaring at us and talking about our group. Had they said we'd have to wait an hour to be served right away instead of just shoving us upstairs and forgetting about us we would have been fine with that. Instead we got good food and piss poor service!

Trash service. Watched tables fill and get their food and waited for an appetizer for over 25 minutes, I feel like if we ordered drinks we would have gotten better service. Server never checked back in. We walked out.

I didn't put a food review, but just went in to eat and waited about 8 minutes and left because a couple servers walked by and didn't even acknowledge us. The dining wasn't busy about 15-20 people seated throughout the whole restaurant. Guess y'all didn't want any

My folks used to frequent the Depot as it is close to their home, had good pizza, and a lake view from the patio. Over the past year the food has been hit or miss. Last week five of us (all adults) came in around 9pm for a late dinner. No one greeted us, but the dining area didn't say closed. We sat down, and after several minutes were told we'd have to move into the bar to be served. Members of our party would have had a hard time hearing conversation in a bar atmosphere, so we explained that and asked to be served in the dining room. They declined, so we went to Pike and Pint on the other end of town and had great food and service. It was disappointing, but Pike and Pint has outdoor dining with great ambiance and is more reliable, so it will likely become the new go-to.

Poor service. the waitress would not come back to the table. After dinner we sat on the patio. The waitress was now drunk and very aggressive towards other guests.

Sat on the bar side of the establishment. Very disappointed in the bartender service. Sat right up at the bar...and were ignored by three guys that were working behind it. We were the only two people sitting at the bar. After numerous minutes we walked out. Disgusting customer service!

Right next to the bike trail, a stone's throw from Big Ole and a beautiful view of the lake from the patio. I enjoy going on Monday nights for the pizza special and Wednesday nights for the Wing special. Great place! My server Amber was a delight.

They're never open when I'm there. Makes me sad. I'd like to try their coffee but they seem to be on their own schedule because there's never anybody there when I'm done with outpatient therapy.

The rare 5 Star Achievement for The Depot!Friendly, fast, clean, and the star attraction was the Smokehouse Burger!!

The prime rib was phenomenal. The salad bar was on the smaller side, but was fresh and the soup was excellent! Our server was awesome and very attentive without being overly attentive. The dining area was decorated nicely and was away from the bar for more intimate conversation. Definitely will go back!
