This was our first time at the Thayer. The food was EXCELLENT and the service just as EXCELLENT! I donāt know why weāve never eaten here before in all the time we visit but this certainly will NOT be our last!!!!

I had supper on Sunday. Staff was great. I ordered the pasta with shrimp. The shrimp still had the boney tails. Very challenging to eat.

Came to the Thayer for dinner with some friends. The food was great and the waiter, Jake, was awesome. He made the evening even more fun.
Food and drinks: Husband had filet mignon and said it was really good. (He's picky so that's something) The rest of us had prime rib and it was very good. Drinks were great. I had a raspberry margarita that was very tasty and a couple specialty shots (probably shouldn't say the name) that were in really good.

This was our first visit and we enjoyed our experience. I rated 4 stars just because our server kept confusing our order with who had what and we had the loaded baked potatoes and they were just warm. Taste was fine but they were not near hot enough. But, great menu selection. We will be back!

Didnāt spend the night but maybe should have. The 4.6 rating must be for the hotel. We had king cut prime rib dinners and they were HORRIBLE!!!!! The entire meal was HORRIBLE!! Disgusting actually!!!!!!!!!

Unusual old hotel. Interesting decor which feels like you're in a 1915 tavern. Nice, unique small corner bar. Menu is small town standard. Nice outside sitting area. Beautiful lake & lovely park nearby.

Stopped for lunch. The food was good. We sat outside in the picturesque patio area. I got the tour of the hotel just for fun. Itās an old building but nice inside with no smells. I noticed the fire sprinkler system which is a go no go for me staying in an older hotel.

I had dinner here tonight with my family of 6. We were the 3rd family seated on the patio, our server was polite. The patio was full AFTER we sat down. We waited 20 minutes to place our drink order and the drinks that we had ordered were wrong. The 5 people in my family were severed their dinner, and then the waiter came back and said that the one dinner was lost. My family member had reciever his dinner AFTER the rest of us were done with our dinner. There were 6 tables seated after us and they were served before us. Once we received our food it was good. The service is the worst I have seen. This was the first and last time I will dine out here.
