We were forced to go out for breakfast due to a power outage so we met our daughter's family there and had a nice breakfast with family. We love the vintage small town atmosphere of the City Restaurant in Ashby.

What a wonderful breakfast! The gal waiting on my wife and I did well, she was a little stingy with the coffee and especially the creamers. The cook came out and brought us our side dishes, nice man. Great atmosphere for a small diner.Definitely going back.

Hidden gem right here folks! We were out in the area painting a client's lake cabin when we stumbled across this place. They have amazing food, well fed portions, and very fairly priced. I highly recommend this for some good food that doesn't break the bank!
