A gem! Small town hospitality in aces! Fresh burgers, not pre-made frozen. Fresh cut fries too! Just a 20-25 minute drive from Fargo ND. Great atmosphere at this bar and grill AND the TV is not too loud. Can actually enjoy the company of friends! Great job, and we will come again.

Stopped on our way home to Minnesota after a visit to UND. We came right as the breakfast was ending and lunch was starting. They had no problem getting our breakfast order in, and kept checking on us to keep us informed that my husbands lunch was on its way. The wait staff were really nice, very friendly. Had a nice visit with Shirley from Watertown. Just a really nice place with great food and outstanding atmosphere. We will be back!!

Great place to have a company team lunch. They also have a fantastic breakfast!
We broke down on I94 just west of Downer. Limped our horse trailer and horses to Downer grabbed the first big parking lot which was the Mainline. The owner swung over to us within 5 min asked if he could help. Brought us a grinder said we were welcome to leave it there do what we needed. They helped us water our horses allowed us to be there as long as we needed. Food was great and we appreciated the safe haven for us and our horses during a stressful time.
