I was so looking forward to taking my wife out for our 2 year wedding anniversary. Our waitress was kind which was the only good thing about our dinner. I love barbecue ribs, and these were really burnt. I only ate two of them. My wife got the wrong dinner given too. The very worst part was that the manager never once came over to our table to see if there was anything she could do to make things right. We were the only ones in the restaurant and felt that we were forgotten most of the time. I hate writing negative reviews, but in this instance felt the need too.

SteVelly's is a hiden gem in lakes area. You can get in and seated immediately on almost any given week day evening. The service is great and Steve's meals are always consistant and done to perfection straight from the kitchen to your table. It's hard to find a menu with so many favorites at that price range. A simple Rib Eye steak costs $15-$24 more in any fancy restaurant and not nearly the size and quality you get at SteVelly's. The charred steaks remind you of the Steak Houses back in the 60-s and 70's with that smell and flavor. If you haven't been there (even for a quick cocktail at their cool bar), I highly recommend trying the menu. You'll have a hard time deciding because there's so many great options. It's a comfortable family style dinning area seperate from the bar. You can also sit at tables in the bar if you choose. Stop in and greet Steve and Shelly. Right on mainstreet in Battle Lake. Park right in front at the curb.
