Have been coming up to Lake of the Woods for the past 10 years for opener & in the Fall. It was refreshing to receive such great hospitality from Tina & Mark. Great service, Great location, Great times! Highly recommend! We will be back!

Loved this place for many years and it keeps getting better! The new owners (8 years) have been working hard to make the customer experience increasingly better. Remodeled cabins, making sure you have every option for charging all your devices in each room, beautiful bar/restaurant and you can expect hot Frys with your burger. Maybe most importantly, the price they quote is the best price you pay!!!

Great place to stay! The cabin we stayed in was clean and newly renovated. Breakfast was fast and delicious. We had the pleasure of chatting with Mark and Tina, the owners, they were wonderful as well. 11/10 recommend booking a stay here :)

5 stars across the board, cabin is clean and updated. Parking is easy with more than enough room for our group. It’s off not overly crowded property with a nice fish cleaning house. The food was great as well!

I love this place! Always the best people working. Owners and staff really try to make you feel like you’re at home. They know your name and really treat you like family. rented half day house last Friday. got out on lake house suppose to be in was already taken had to wait around for employee to get another house set up. gave us oldest house, door kept blowing open heater barley kept up. lady at resort rude asked to speak with owners twice was told they were not available.

Just went to eat some quick supper. Only one person working and she did a fantastic job! Great service and the burger was pretty good too. Quick to get another beer and overall was a good experience. Did not stay at resort so cannot comment on rooms or anything else.
We did two half days fishing with Wigwam and they always put you on fish. Btw the fish cooked at Wigwam will blow your mind. So delicious and fast! Can’t wait to go back this summer.

We went ice fishing with Wigwam Resort and stayed one night in the lodge. The fishing guides were great and we caught a ton of Walleye. The room was clean and warm, but it is an older lodge. Know what you’re getting into and you will love this place. Food and drinks on site. Couldn’t have been more convenient. We will be back.

Three years in a row, we’ve had a bad experience at Wigwam. The lady at the office desk is so rude! Each year we would say we’re not going through Wigwam again, and each year we forget. Not again! My kids heard her voice and turned for the door. “It’s the mean lady again!” Same woman all 3 years. She refused to give us a map, chastised us for getting there after dark, and told us we were on our own, nobody would plow for us, and their spots were likely full…after we had paid for the road pass. We’re self-sufficient fishermen; all I expect is to be treated kindly, or at least with courtesy.

We ended up blowing a belt on my sxs ranger on Friday night. After getting it to shore, we waited until morning to figure out a solution. My brother called the front desk. They reached out to Jim on his day off and said he could fix it for us. Within minutes, he was at our cabin door, and we got into the shop. 30 minutes later, we were back up and running. I highly recommend the Wigwam, very friendly people.
