We had a few cocktails before ordering supper and the food was very good but they are so understaffed 1 bar tender and 1 waiter it took at least 20 minutes to get a cocktail and another half hour to 45 minutes before we were able to place another order and then after placing the order our waiter never did come back to ask if we needed anything else we had to go and ask for our tab. The manager walked by us 2 different times and never ask if we needed anything never seen him after 5 pm. Sad experience with him never used to have bad service but the last month has went down hill fast.

Great place to grab a beer and a sandwich while supercharging - particularly is this is a lower watt supercharger.

A great private dog friendly patio in Baxter. We stop every time we go through town. Service is great and food is yummy. The inside bar is fun too!!

My son ordered the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, it was raw, I ordered a cheeseburger and my burger was extremely raw!
We will never go back!

Had the walleye, one of the best fillets in the area. Friendly wait staff, great selection of tap beers.

We got right in at 6:15 on a Valentines day Friday. The tables were set beautifully and had fresh flowers as centerpieces. They had a V-day menu with 4 courses. That looked delicious but we chose to get sandwiches and an app instead. The waitress forgot which beer was what. The appetizer was brought out missing the 'house special' sauce and extra plates. Our sandwiches were quite delicious. I had the Hawaiian burger and my wife had a Nashville chicken. I had asked for ham to be added to my burger but it came out without that addition. The dining room was very nice and comfortable, even romantic. Then someone spoiled it by turning on some pop music that was a little too loud for me.

We stayed at the Lodge attached to the restaurant and were very happy with our service. Our server, a sweet older gal (I think Joyce? Her name tag was faded which I’m guessing means she’s been there a long time- Sorry if I got her name wrong) was one of the most attentive that we have had in a long time. She even asked the kids if they needed a refill for water. Sounds silly, but we go out to eat all the time and never get asked nor do servers hardly even pay attention to the kids.

We ordered the fish sandwich special and two pizzas. The fish sandwich had two huge pieces of cod and the fries were great. Only complaint is the fish was a touch over fried and oily, but still tasted fine. The pizzas were large and flavorful. The Margherita pizza could’ve used some more mozzarella and basil, but again, kids ate it with no complaints.

We ordered the Duck Pond Brown Ale from Jack Pine Brewery next door, it was very good. They also had happy hour going on for people who like domestic beers ($4).

Overall, pleased with the service and ambience. We sat by the hotel entrance and the only feedback I could give would be to put a sign there so people know to go to the front and check in at the hostess stand. We observed a lot of confused people haha. Thanks!
