Great service by Patty, our server.
All though the Cubana bun was a little soggy, the flavor was spot on.
Wild rice soup, is always our favorite.

Got there late, I ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was beyond dry and not edible, otherwise waffle fries, and chicken wild rice soup , and cheesecake was good... B.f got the Cuban..

For $90 you'd think they would of made sure the chicken was good to eat ...

I had the walleye sandwich. My son had steak dinner. The Walleye was way over cooked and my son's steak was full of grisel. Nasty. I do not recommend going here.

PRIME RIB SPECIAL! This one did not disappoint ? Flavorful Au Jus, veggies, and a tater of your choice. No wonder the menu says available "until gone". I bet they go fast! Quick and friendly service here as always.

As a visitor to Baxter, we were looking for a good restaurant to make our visit as special as we could. Big disappointment here. We joined the lunch “crowd” on the Friday of Labor Day weekend. Not being a big burger fan, I chose the pasta with house made marinara. I also opted for the meatballs at an extra charge. Big mistake. Everything arrived cold except the meatballs, which apparently had just come out of the microwave. The small handful of pasta was cold to the touch. The house marinara was just a notch over plain tomato sauce as no spices could be detected whatsoever. Thank God I had meatballs to fall back on but too much time in the microwave yielded dry, tough little morsels that were frozen only moments before. The lobster bisque my wife chose had lumps of something in it but she highly doubts if it was lobster. Again, tasteless. Her club sandwich was ok. Upon arriving, I noticed a bartender on duty as well as one waitress. Mr. Bartender had all he could do to manage the bar, let alone wait tables for drink orders. He announced that so-and-so would be our waitress. She was not the waitress working the room. After nearly finishing our beers our waitress finally showed up for an anything-but-friendly approach to taking our orders. “Special” meal out? You must be kidding. It was the worst ever. If we had gone to diner next door, we would at least have received a hot meal and a friendly waitress. Never again.

Horrible food, frozen products, bought-in everything. Bland and terrible. Not worth the time let alone the money. 👎👎👎

This place was the absolute worst. Kids meals were inedible, chicken Alfredo was so watered down and over cooked noodles. Service was bad from the start- stood waiting to get a table in an empty restaurant where 5 of the workers walked past us, looked and kept walking. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Save your money and time.

We are in town for a convention and had a table of 9 for dinner. Our waitress Alexis did a great job of taking care of us and the food was tasty. Loved the walleye and prime rib sandwiches. The burgers were great as well.

Perfect walleye sandwich, Caesar salad and wild rice soup; we loved our server Darlene and food was cooked fast and fresh for our party of 8. Well done if you’re looking for an authentic Minnesota place in a cool atmosphere

No Air Conditioning running when it's 80 degrees out, smells bad in here. Restaurant was almost empty, like 4 tables, and our drinks never got to us in 15 minutes after ordering. That wouldn't usually be a huge deal, but the bartender didn't even start working on them. Food looked decent but the service was a joke.

Food was 'ok'. Salad was the equivalent of a Dole salad kit. Nothing too exciting for $12.00. The server never came back after food was dropped off, he was too busy chatting a co-worker so we had to go find him to get our bill. Won't make our return list.
