I went with. A friend who recommended this place. He's a retired firefighter. I was pleasantly impressed with the friendliness of the staff who give great suggestions. They KNOW their sandwiches. They have decor all about first responders. Pictures of the local fire departments, a mural painted by a guy JOE PUKUS who does the large painting of the first responders community, and first responders get discounts when presenting their badge. I really enjoy Firehouse subs. I have stopped at the brainerd store twice in the last year, both times I was the third car in line. Both times after waiting 15 minutes and the drive-thru for my sandwich I just drove off. They're cold sub sandwiches, it can't be that difficult. There were about five cars in the parking lot at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon but I don't think there's any excuse for waiting 15 minutes for a sub sandwich
