Friendly service but the coffee just wasn’t that great

Good coffee scones didn't look the most appalling and it was noisy and overwhelming for people who have anxiety due to a bank being attached to it with no buffer or wall in-between the buildings where people are making noises such as phones calls zoom meetings ect

GREAT scones & coffee!
I am revising my review rating. We have come to Stonehouse COFFEE & Roastery for years. The last two times (a week apart), the coffee brewing machine was broken. (!) Come on, owners. Wake up & smell the coffee.

This location I judge to be understaffed and undertrained. The Saturday person is not friendly, the bathroom had no toilet paper and the fireplace is not working. Staff does not seem to desire to rectify these things. On the upside, the coffee and scones are good.

Try the cinnamon Christmas with hot honey! 🔥 🍯. So good!

I am visiting the area and not familiar with Stonehouse's seasonal drinks. The cashier couldn't describe the flavors on a single drink (for reference I asked about The Grinch, Naughty or Nice Christmas Miel, Changa something and something Cocoa. Am I the only person who doesn't know what flavor The Grinch is supposed to be????) The person making the drinks who did know the flavors clearly was annoyed at my questions. Talk about a horrible customer experience.

Management: Was it the cashier's 1st day on the job? Did she receive not even 5 minutes of training? If you're not going to train your staff to know the menu, maybe hire someone with initiative who could find out for themself what the drink flavors are. Or at least make sure the person who does know the menu is friendly. And if you don't want to do those things, maybe just put flavor descriptions on a piece of paper by the register so the guests can figure it out themselves.

Being a hockey mom from ND, I try to find fun, local places when we are traveling. I found a great one here! The sugar cookie latte was delish and the bacon scone was perfection. I will be back whenever we are in town.

Picked up a cold brew from here and it was excellent. Kind of an odd location for a coffee house but definitely a good place to get a cup of coffee.

We love the scones at Stonehouse Coffee Baxter, but goodness, if you don't get there early, they run out quickly! The main shop in Nisswa where the scones are baked should be sending more to the Baxter shop.

Terrible service this morning. The employee (young lady) took my order, I paid and waited way too long to get my single cup to go. She took the order of the next 2 guys, took their money, warmed up and served their scone. She then took the next guys order and served him his cup for house coffee and warmed scone. She then took the order of the woman behind him and served her a cup of house coffee. Then proceeded to make my coffee and 2 other drinks not belonging to me at the same time. Awful experience and will give my business elsewhere moving forward!
