Ordered a supreme pizza from here. Asked for ONE side of the pizza to have NO olives NO mushrooms. The pizza was made with no olives and no mushrooms. So that was frustrating to open the box and see. The pizza was undercooked, I wish I took a picture of it. But it could of been cooked for at least a little longer. The crust sucked. It was dry and crumbly. Overall the pizza didn't have good flavor and I don't recommend this place.

Fantastic stop on 61. Will definitely make this a stop if we're ever in the area again.

We picked up food before heading out for a camping night — and wow, it was the perfect dinner in the middle of nowhere!

1. Tree Hugger Pizza — olive oil and herb crust, tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil. Every bite was bursting with flavor — yummmmmm doesn’t even cover it! 🌿🔥

2. Basket of Tots — crispy, golden and just perfect.🥔✨

Packed perfectly, stayed fresh and made our outdoor dinner feel extra special.

Highly recommend grabbing from here if you’re heading out or just want fresh, feel-good comfort food!

if you have more than 2 people in your party, I don't recommend this as a place to eat. From the time our party of 6 placed our order, it took well over an hour to get our food. Then, they didn't bring everyone's order at the same time.
The house special hamburger was ok, but was it worth $18 for a cheeseburger and fries?

I give it 2 stars because the walleye was tasty. But ...we had to get up from our table to ask for silverware, the beer on tap was too foamy to serve, the philly cheese steak was dry and grizzly, and I got a wallet sandwich when I ordered a fillet basket. I pulled the walleye off the bed and it was very good. The rest could use some finessing.

Almost an hour wait for food (no updates from server). Restaurant was mostly empty when we ordered.
I’ve had better wings and tenders from a gas station. The sandwich was OK.

Stopped here with 4 adults and 4 kids. It was perfect, fast, friendly, and an outstanding location for eating along the North shore during our adventure. Thank you! Highly recommended.

Cove Point Crossings is a good spot for a casual lunch if you’re exploring Minnesota’s North Shore. It was definitely a better experience than what we had in Duluth, especially compared to Grandma’s. The menu has a nice variety that worked well for both adults and kids. We ordered the turkey focaccia, cheeseburger, wrap, Cobb salad, and a kids cheese pizza. The focaccia was fresh and flavorful, and the Cobb salad was huge—definitely big enough to share. The kids cheese pizza was larger than we expected, and everything came out hot and well-prepared.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The woman who helped us was especially kind and offered lots of great tips for things to do in the area, which we really appreciated. That said, it did feel pricey for what it was. Lunch for seven people came out to $178, with most entrees around $18 each. While the food was good and the portions generous, the price felt a bit high for a casual spot like this. Still, if you’re looking for a reliable place with solid food and great service, Cove Point Crossings is worth a visit.

We were told we were on a waiting list. There was a high top that sat maybe 12. I asked about it and the owner/manager told us it was reserved for parties of 6 or more. A couple that he knew came in and he sat them there immediately.A waitress that had just got on sat us at the other end of the high top, and he yelled at her in public that he didn’t want us seated there. We are senior citizens, and I’m a veteran. I’m not sure what his issue was. My wife ordered a burger which was served rare. We returned it. The young waitress was nice. Other than that, drive by this so called restaurant.

Charming little place with good service. Food was great. I was just shocked at how expensive everything was. Be ready for that.

The absolute worst pizza I've ever eaten in my entire life. I'm not even sure how a place could make pizza so badly!?
The Philly sandwich was the same, terrible. The salad and appetizer were good but for the ridiculously high prices and very poor service, I'd say definitely a hard pass!

Seriously, don't stop here unless you like spending a lot of money on disappointment.
