A Must-Stop for the Best Chocolate Long John’s in Stearns County!
Belgrade Bakery has been a sweet part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, visiting my grandparents meant one thing: donuts from Belgrade Bakery—especially the chocolate Long John’s. The homemade chocolate is rich and smooth, and that custard filling? Hands down the most delicious I’ve ever had.
When my family moved to the area, the bakery became part of our regular routine. Now, even though I live in North Carolina, I make sure to stop by every time I’m home—even if it’s just once a year.
Pro tip: Set your alarm and get there early because they do sell out (and fast)! But the drive, the early wake-up, and yes, even the calories are 100% worth it 😜
Shelly is an absolute delight—she greets everyone with a warm smile and makes the experience feel like you’re coming home. There’s nothing like a hometown, homemade donut made with love.

We don’t drive by Belgrade very often, but when we do the bakery is a must stop. Shelley always has a smile for her customers and the bakery items are always tasty. The bakery has small loaves of bread which is ideal for the single guys and larger loaves for the family.
