I had an unexpected overnight stay in Benson, MN and went for breakfast to the Whistle Stop Diner. I enjoyed my visit and my meal. Very friendly atmosphere, prices are good, and those pancakes ARE indeed big.
My husband and I had the daily specials of chicken chow mein and roast beef dinner. Delicious! Server was delightful. Atmosphere--what's not to like about eating in an old train car? Go there!
Was in town for work. Went to lunch here both days. Got the whistle burger both times for lunch. It was outstanding! Server was very nice and food came out very quickly. Very cool atmosphere as well.
