Excited to see what looked like a great little spot for breakfast, we were promptly greeted by the waitress and seated quickly got our coffee right away and then we ordered, we got similar breakfasts we both had scrambled eggs and they seemed like they were the kind of thing that were a egg substitute that you might get at a fast food place, I got a biscuit that was definitely frozen and sausage patties that were thin and tasteless, Hash browns were the star of the show, service was Excellent but the food lacked everything that we were hoping for and then the Bill no extras were in the order just 2 breakfasts with coffee and it was $40.00 for 2 $4.50 breakfasts it felt like we were back in the cities all of a sudden, the cover of this Book is misleading next time I guess a gas station breakfast sandwich will be the order in this area sadly

My family and I ate at your restaurant in January after attending my son's wrestling tournament. We were starving and stumbled across your place. It was just a block from the school. It's such a quaint little place and we instantly felt so welcome. Our meals were ordered and arrived fast and the service was excellent. Everything we had tasted amazing and the prices were very manageable. These little mom and pop places used to be everywhere, and now there's not many left. We stopped here for breakfast on our way back from Lake of the Woods. It is a great, cozy little restaurant. The prices are very reasonable. Everybody in the restaurant was very, very friendly. My over easy eggs were cooked to perfection! As an added bonus, the coffee was very, very good. Don’t just drive through Blackduck on the highway, stop into this great little restaurant.

Absolutely phenomenal food, price reflects quality and portion size. We have found our new spot to hit up when up ice fishing. The home baked goods are definitely grandmas home made taste and quality. Well worth stopping in black duck for this gem....Staff is kind and friendly and goes out of the way to welcome you

Don't normally give 5 star reviews for food, but this place was nothing short of amazing. From our walk in and being quickly seated, accompanied by a very friendly and attentive waitress, paired with an amazing breakfast that was catered to our liking deserves 5 stars. Definitely recommended this place for breakfast and ask for what you wish and they will deliver an amazing breakfast in a quick fashion. Great food with a friendly smile

After waiting for 45 minutes for our order we left. There was no food leaving the kitchen. First time stopping there. If food was actually leaving the kitchen in a timely fashion I would have understood the wait. They were very unorganized.
