After coming to read some of the other reviews on this site - I was hesitant to even write a review given that the owners seem to slander anyone who has anything negative to say instead of trying to make anything right, apologize, or even consider changes to make things better. But after today, I want to be able to save others the time and money of coming here.Despite what we’ve been told by others, we decided against better judgement to make reservations for their Easter buffet. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. I wish I could pinpoint it being just one or two things, however it was the entire experience. The first red flag should’ve been the paper plates and plastic cups, however we shrugged it off thinking maybe it was just they were busy and needed to save on some time. I can understand that and it wasn’t a deal breaker. As we were choosing food, the options were extremely limited and nothing like what was listed or shown on their Facebook post. There was no Mac and cheese, no chocolate fountain, very little eggs, and very little French toast bake. Again, we gave the benefit of the doubt thinking it was just busy and they would be replenished soon. The coffee was served cold twice, the ham was cold, the prime rib was cold, and so was the French toast bake. I will say, the taste of the food that we actually tried was fine - BUT the cold aspect of it was deterring and disappointing and made it so we couldn’t even finish the plates. We even sent the ham to the kitchen once to be reheated and it came back still not worthy of eating. We went up to see what was even left worth to pick at in the buffet and found there was still nothing replenished so grabbed a dessert and went to sit back down and at least enjoy family time. The waiter only came to our table twice and the one time it was only because we had called him over. We waited over 20 minutes for a check to be brought and finally got up and went up to the bar to get it to where we waited yet another 5/10 minutes to even be acknowledged for the tab. This wouldn’t have been a big deal to any of us had we had a good meal and if they were super packed, but that didn’t seem to be the case which really poured salt in the wound having to wait and wait to just pay. We requested the coffee be taken off. Instead of just agreeing and taking off a small small portion of the already over $100 bill - the waiter decided to snap at us back with the comment of “well you drank it didn’t you.” It was disheartening. We still were willing to pay. We still were trying to be civil, but this whole experience really just was deterring of ever wanting to come back or recommend the place. We luckily were able to catch a group coming in that we recognized and tell them what happened and they luckily were able to navigate elsewhere for their Easter lunch. We will absolutely not be back.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Tavern on the Range. I just happened to stop by there. I had a ribeye steak that was absolutely delicious. It was cooked exactly how I Luke it. The staff was so fun. You can tell this is a family type of place. I’m looking forward to returning soon.

FRUIT FLY INFESTATION!!Never have I ever walked into a bar and seen all the liquor bottles covered with plastic red shot cups. Then have the bartender tell me "Oh, we have a fruit fly probkem".I had to keep my hand on the top of my cup because of fruit flies trying to land on it. AND having to blow fruit flies out of your face while sitting there.Left after my one drink. Will not be returning.

Went there for Valentine's Day and had reservations for 5:30. Was seated by 5 :25. Waitress was great to start with. Got drinks and ordered right away. Young boys brought us water and bread sticks, which were good and hot. Went to salad bar. The set up was not that well put together. We waited for over 40 minutes for food. When we got there, there were only 4 tables and they had already ordered. Our drinks were empty and didn't know what happened to our waitress. The boys that were running the food out had no idea what the table numbers were. They were running around with food asking people, and then it seemed for some odd reason our food went upstairs. There was a guy walking around with a sports jacket on talking to tables. Never once stopped at our table. Our waitress was called into the hallway by him saying our tables food was upstairs, he thought. Well, it sure was by the time it got to our table it was cold. The food was ok. I had the filet that was 45 dollars very expensive, not for that price. Nobody ever came back and checked on us to make sure everything was ok... not knowledgement what so ever. Total bill for 4 people 180.00. ? the reason we went was because they advertised on Facebook their menu looked good for Valentine's Day. Plus, they were going to pick someone for free dinner for two if you shared. Well, they never advertise who won that. So, my thoughts were false advertising. You need to do better if you want good paying customers to come back. Fix you mistakes.

I've been a regular at this establishment since the day it was rebranded and started evolving into The Tavern. What once was a hole in the wall bar has turned into a place I proudly call home! Kat and Troy have done so much to improve everything about this establishment, yet they've managed to keep the hometown bar vibe as well. The menu is great from the burgers to pasta to the awesome wing selection right down to the hand crafted pizzas! You simply can't go wrong making this a stop for great food, unique beverages and a friendly inviting atmosphere! I give it a 12 out of 10 must try!Vegetarian options: The kitchen caters to everyone's dining needs.Parking: Even when it's busy there are places nearby to park vehicles of every shape and size.Kid-friendliness: A place for the entire family to enjoy! Definitely bring the kids!

What a find! Not only is the food top notch, I've never in my life had an icy mug of beer like this. Absolutely everyone there makes you feel at home and the history of the building is really fascinating! Former rooming house, speak easy, jail cell, what more can you ask for? The heart and soul is real at Tavern on the Range.
