Fairways at Madden's

Our waiter was kind and quick to answer our questions and concerns about allergens. He stayed attentive during our visit and kept our waters filled. Our experience featured a beautiful view of the golf course and we got to watch planes flying by. My girlfriend and I ordered our steaks medium rare but mine came out a little tough. Hers was cooked perfect and her meal was amazing. I felt my meal was decent and not worth the price, but the shallot butter pan sauce was spectacular.

Dietary restrictions: I’m allergic to peanuts and shellfish so the waiter double checked my dinner choices. Ended up switching choices due to cross contamination in the frying oil and had to swap my fries for a loaded baked potato.

Service was great. For a higher end place the prices were reasonable. The food in my opinion could use some improvements. My steak tasted like a dirty

Was recommended to go there for the Breakfast Buffet. Server staff were rude and not happy about having customers and it was like pulling teeth to get a Coffee. Kinda Disappointing. On a positive note: Bacon was Delish and The Hostess was also very Personable and sweet.

Probably some of the best food I’ve had at a hotel/resort. Cooking for a lot of people can generally bring the quality of food down, but Fairways did a surprisingly good job at bringing fresh food out for our company retreat. Great option for breakfast, lunch or dinner at Maddens on Gull Lake.

Bartenders we very nice when I ordered a beer to take back to my hotel room! Later I called to ask if they offer room service or pick up. The person on the phone said pick up. As I was about to place my order for the pick up, they said bye and hung up. It was a very odd response which lost my service.

Perfect for bigger groups, call ahead for reservations. Wait Staff are wonderful. If your looking for a Beautiful Birthday serenade you will get it. I had the Black and Blu Salad, Prime Rib was amazing.

We enjoyed the all you can eat Fish - Oh My! just one plate of Walley cooked, pan fried or grilled was more than enough. None of us ever contemplated seconds! The second delightful dinner was the Prime Rib - again all you could eat, cooked the way you requested - one serving was more than generous! What really made the dinners more enjoyable for me was how nice & fun the wait staff was. These ladies can sing! and do a lovely job on happy birthday! Deserts are average but it is not likely you will have room for desert when the main course is so generous! More casual setting, more casual dress code, good for the kids & a nice view of the golf course. Do need reservations here also.
